No. I honestly do not give a squishy raccoon turd about logic leaps in Infinity War. But DC Fan asked and you responded making no sense. I still do not know how Thor in all the universe knew how and where to find Thanos. Was is deus ex magica or deus ex machina? Or GPS all along? We might never know. But I will have to learn to live with that. It only seems like a logic leap when you haven't been paying attention and can't put anything together.
Alas, as we know from the past your logic is fallacious at times. And making things up randomly does not equal putting things together. This is still not conclusive and basically "a wizard id it" writing. So it's deus ex magica as I inferred all along! Interesting concepts, "OdinSight" and OdinForce? Does that work like Cerebo in XMen? Pray provide concrete dialogue where this plot (convenience) device is mentioned, and where it states that you could find random people in the universe with it.

A 'wizard did it'? A god with special weapon that lesser beings can't even wield.
Odinforce and Odinsleep have been mentioned in the Thor movies.
Here are some facts: Odin was king.
Odin had powers. Odin's father was Bors.
From these facts we can deduce Bors had powers when he was King of Asgard.
From that we can deduce that now that Odin has died, Thor would inherit such powers. Hell we don't need to deduce that, we saw it in Ragnarok when he spoke to Force-ghost Odin. "Are you, 'Thor, god of hammers'?"
Clearly he's stronger with Stormbreaker than without. It focuses and harnesses his powers, just as Mjolnir did, but now that Odin has died, his power is even greater.

oh please having the stones by trackable imply that any forethought was put into these films. its not like they had the stones being trackable in any prior installment So basically there's no logical explanation at all for how Thor knew to find Thanos in Wakanda and that's just another of the many plotholes in MCU movies. Got it! exactly

Re: everything about magic "Your ancestors called it magic, but you call it science. I come from a land where they are one and the same." -Thor
Re: 'locate random people' He can fly through space with the Bifrost. We've seen Heimdall sending and summoning people with the Bifrost. Thor can now control where he goes. It wouldn't have been dramatic if it showed him zooming around Earth figuring out where the action was and eventually seeing Thanos' troop carriers.
Re: Odin meant that Thor should not rely on gimmicks like the hammer but his inner strength as person Thor becoming more powerful after Odin's death is likely not a coincidence. Ever seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer? One Slayer dies, another is cosmically activated. Same idea. Thor's conversation with Odin was representative of this mechanism. This will prompt you to ask 'omg but how? magic?' Likely same or similar way Heimdall was able to send Hulk to earth. "Allfathers...let the dark magic flow through me one last time."

Your are writing the script for them (stoned). That is not how it works. A wizard..um scientist did it! Re: Immigration Wrong forum, sad you had to pick through my posts and find something from a different forum. Illegal crossings have gone way down since Obama's first couple years.Lol. What are you even talking about, you pothead. I linked to a conversation between us on this forum a few days ago where you made pseudo-scientific, fallacious assertions in an ridiculous effort to debunk DC Fan. Stop smoking weed!QED

Its a legitimate question to ask. The only one who could see the entire universe was Heimdall and he died in the opening raid.

Blah! then call it a scientist did it". Does not answer my question. You may as well ask 'How is Thor able to fly just by spinning his hammer? how can he summon lightning?' 'How can Magneto move metal with his mind?' They've explained enough. Only idiots like you and dcfan are making a fuss. Still no answer: How does he know where to locate Thanos in all the universe or even on Earth? By science? Where is that set out in dialogue or exposition? Thor was present in the first scene which had this exchange Loki: If I might, interject, if you’re going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of experience in that arena. Thanos: Well, if you consider failure experience. Loki: I consider experience, experience. Thanos confirms in front of Thor that he's targeting Earth.
Thor with the Guardians Thor: There’s six stones out there. Thanos already has the Power Stone because he stole it last week, when he decimated Xandar. He stole the Space Stone from me, when he destroyed my ship and slaughtered half my people. The Time and Mind Stones are safe on Earth. They’re with the Avengers. Obviously Thor knew he'd have to check Earth eventually. He went there with the Bifrost. Eventually saw Thanos' troop carriers. Q.E.D. Showing that explicitly would have totally killed the moment where he arrived.
Lol. What are you even talking about, you pothead. I linked to a conversation between us on this forum a few days ago where you made pseudo-scientific, fallacious assertions in an ridiculous effort to debunk DC Fan. Stop smoking weed! Must have mixed up my tabs. There is no fifth law of thermodynamics yet. I'm sure there's 1 or 2 proposals for it though, but there ain't one yet.
What I said about mass and gravity is not pseudo-scientific. Do you know how we calculate the force of gravity? F(g) = (G*m1*m2)/r2 F(g) is the force due to gravity. G is the universal gravitational constant, m1 is mass one, m2 is two, r is the distance between m1 and m2. Say m1 is the earth and m2 is the moon. If you add resources to Earth, then the force of gravity between the earth and moon will increase. If you increase it too much, then it will disrupt the moon's orbit and cause orbital decay.
You could let m1 be any planet, and m2 be m1's star. Increasing resources would lead to every planets getting consumed by their star. So again, using the Gauntlet to increases resources is a stupid idea - if it's even possible. and we would either have no story or a completely different one...
This has gotten too tedious. If you don't understand yet you never will. Good luck.

You may as well ask 'How is Thor able to fly just by spinning his hammer? how can he summon lightning?' 'How can Magneto move metal with his mind?' They've explained enough. Only idiots like you and dcfan are making a fuss. Its establishing world building rules. Thor says to Jane in the first film that on his planet, what midgard calls magic, Asgard calls science. That explains why Thor can fly with his hammer, why he is superstrong and why he can summon lightning. He cannot however see everywhere in the universe. Thats Heimdalls unique ability. That is an established rule. So when he somehow locates the infinity gaunlet on earth, the rule has been broken. You cant rely on Asgardian magic being a copout explanation because Asgardian magic has its own rules. For Magneto, his genetic mutation on the X-gene on chromosome Y inherited from his father allows him to psyconically manipulate electromagnetic fields. Xavier uses Cerebro to amplify brainwaves of mutants in Cerebro to locate them. Mistiques cellular structures change morphology to match any living organism. This is all established.

So Thor goes to some planet to get the axe and then goes to Earth. How the fuck did Thor know to find Thanos in Wakanda? He didn't. You wouldn't know this since you haven't watched the movie, but Thor actually arrives on Earth before Thanos does. Thor goes to earth because it's where 2 of the stones are.

So ... it’s been established that Thor knew there were Infinity Stones on Earth and, naturally, Thanos would come looking for them. Any of you knuckleheads having difficulty with that? As he approaches Earth he sees that alien spaceships are descending upon Wakanda and concludes that is where the action is. Simple. Now, its obvious that the OP has a serious idiot affliction, but I didn’t realize that it was the sort of thing that could be transmitted to others. Unless you guys are not taking proper precautions.

So, if you shift goalposts now, pray tell: King Kong claims but does NOT prove: Help him out! How did Thor know the exact location where Thanos was? - It was established that Thor knew Thanos would be on Earth for the magic stone...? How and where was that established? Provide dialogue and exposition from the film showing how he knew were Thanos is. - How did Thor find the spaceship/Thanos of all places in obscure Wakanda? King Kong's explanation is childishly naive (Earth is big) and seems not to be in the movie. Without GPS you could search a small object on Earth for decades. Provide dialogue and exposition from the film. Or is it still all convenient deus ex GPS machina? Has ANY of you guys the grips to answer a simple question with exposition that is actually IN the movie and not made up? I am sure it's in there, or the script would be extremely sloppy. I'm waiting...

Yes you are a bit sloppy, both, in your logic and execution. Holy telescope, Kopernikus! It was an obvious joke. My 5th law was a TDK quote, Einstein. You are trying to deflect. Increased mass increases gravity as per the bending of spacetime (according to Einstein) - every 10 year old knows that principle. That's not the issue here. The point was that you claimed that increasing resources would increase the gravity so much that Earth suffers an orbital decay being pushed into the sun. Which is laughable. Do you even know what resources are? They are precious. They are rare. And nobody made a claim which resources are increased by what factor (or which planet). Lol, gravity and orbit decay would be the very least of the problems (eg value deflation would be). It's also a funny fallacy of yours: slippery road. yourlogicalfallacyis.com/slippery-slopeSounds like your MO. Yes, I understand you have run out of deflections and excuses. Your surrender is accepted.

As for the topic
This begs the question why would Thor go straight to earth and not to Knowhere first. He specifically states that he thinks Thanos will go to see the collector first instead of earth, for whatever reason not given. Unless he did go to The Collectors vault and find it was destroyed but it wasn't shown in the movie. If that's the implication then fair enough but it doesn't explain how he ends up specifically in Wakanda. The bifrost doesn't operate like that, it needed Heimdalls vision or observatory to pinpoint an end location in previous movies. In Infinity War itself, Heimdall sends Hulk to New York because he could 'see' where Dr Stranges sanctuary was and not end up elsewhere.

You know, the same manner in which Han Solo saw Luke Skywalkers tiny little spaceship against the backdrop of the big Death Star. Simple.

You know, the same manner in which Han Solo saw Luke Skywalkers tiny little spaceship against the backdrop of the big Death Star. Simple. sounds more reasonable than the OdinSight, OdinForce and magic-did-it explanations. Without further review I would declassify this as a blatant plot convenience instead of a plot hole. Still, how in the world, uh universe, Thor could find the exact spot in Wakanda is still literally Deus ex Machina and requires your good will speculation and incredibly convenient coincidences (lol: the term comes from Greek drama where at the end of plays suddenly a God appears and resolves a desperate situation). Ergo: DC Fans GPS model still seems the most reasonable explanation for what happened. Admittedly, all this is just a nitpick and the least of the screenplay's problems. Btw, the reference to Star Wars ANH is detrimental: Here we have some sound explanations for the plot convenience set within the exposition context. (i) Han Solo knew exactly where Luke was: Han/Chewie attended the Rebel meeting where the trench run attack was explicitly discussed and shown on video (and Han rolled his eyes). (ii) Han/Chewi were in control of the Falcon spaceship and experienced outer space pilots. (iii) They could follow the Rebel radio chatter to understand what's going on during the attack. (iii) They knew exactly where to head (trench on Death Star) via the (famed) navigational system of the Falcon Han bragged about. (iv) Also we know from ANH that the Falcon has detection sensors (radar-dish) to detect other ships such as Ties long before the eye can see them. QED. This is "simple", your plot convenience is an inconvenient stretch.

Even your MCU troll colleagues Skathar and King Kong Brady contributed reasonably, why not you?
