Huh, I'm surprised they're allowing this. I would definitely keep the flagstick in at all times. You wouldn't have to worry as much about ball speed if you can just bank the ball off the flagstick.

Agree...if it is a thinnish one, played some courses where it is thicker and would think it would ram off it.
