My coffee maker gets a white and brown growth on the sprinkler part (and maybe other places I cannot see). The instructions and the Internet say to clean it regularly with vinegar. And that whatever grows inside it can be harmful.
I have cleaned it before. That vinegar works great.
But, the coffee seems to taste better with the growth than when clean. So I clean it regularly. But not as soon as the growth appears.
How often do you clean yours?
