It kinda depends on the day. Sometimes I say it more than others and I say it to my Wifey, our pets, my Sister, my Aunt, my nieces and nephew and some of my friends who say it to me too.

Everyday? Zero. There’s no one I talk to everyday.

0. In fact I don't recall ever saying it, as my life is not a cliche Hollywood movie.
Do people really say this often in real life? The only time it seems appropriate and not forced is if you first confess your love to someone. But to say it to someone you already love seems pointless and forced.

To a human? 0 To my dog? Everyday! before his meals, after his meals, before bedtime, in da mornin', whenever he stares at me longingly...fuck...his very existence makes me wanna smother him with love.

why? never felt it for anyone? I have loved only one woman. I told her how much I loved her etc. but I never said "I love you". It sounds awful in my native language. It sounds false and too formal. I always use dialect when I speak.

I tell my mother that I love her almost every day and I say it a lot to my cat.

oh i see. of course, that makes sense. i love you is way too overused in the english language i feel. i have not encountered any other language that would be using it so much, or using the same words to express feelings for mother/partner/dog/friends.

To a human? 0 To my dog? Everyday! before his meals, after his meals, before bedtime, in da mornin', whenever he stares at me longingly...fuck...his very existence makes me wanna smother him with love. To a human? Same here, 0 To my cats, my dog, my adorably cute puppy, my bunny and my goats... All the time. They get held and hugged and petted each and every day, too. My family wasn't very verbally expressive; after my father died, my mother started saying it to me every time I saw or spoke to her. She liked hearing it said back to her. The expression, from her, never rang quite true. My dad didn't need to say or hear the words back, his behavior clearly spoke louder than words. The few times he did say the words, it was in response to some catastrophic event and the last time, it was the last words he ever spoke; he had suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke and died a few days later. When I was married, I said it a lot. I still look at my late husband's photo and tell him.

I said it to two people today, my kid brother and my female cousin.
Of course, I am of Italian descent, and we tend to say it more than most of you other emotionless cocksuckers.
