Here are a dozen that I don’t think have suggested yet Predestination / Michael and Peter Spierig (2014) Chi Bi (Red Cliff) / John Woo (2008) Kiss Me, Deadly / Robert Aldrich (1955) And Then There Were None / René Clair (1945) 12 Angry Men / Sidney Lumet (1957) Solyaris / Andrei Tarkovsky (1972) Murder On The Orient Express / Sidney Lumet (1974) The Parallax View / Alan J. Pakula (1974) Babettes Gæstebud (Babette’s Feast) / Gabriel Axel (1987) Caché / Michael Haneke (2005) Le Charme Discret De La Bourgeoisie (The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie) / Luis Bunuel (1972) The Clouds Of Sils Maria / Olivier Assayas (2014) I am glad you are a big Predestination guy my favorite time travel film actually.

The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep are pretty dense. I especially like TMF. The Manchurian Candidate is one of my favorite films. 2001, The Third Man. Those are all films I can watch over and over.

Adaptation, In the Bedroom, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
edit: also Waking Life; that's an interesting, if pretententious-as-fuck, movie.

For me it was the winner of last year. (together with Manchester By The Sea).
