NBC simply because I prefer Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. I like Al Michaels but find Collinsworth very annoying. Whether or not the game is a good one is purely luck and coincidence and has nothing to do with the network itself, of course. So I have no fucking clue.

I donβt mind Collinsworth, I think he does a semi decent job, although he never seems to guess a replay reviewβs outcome correctly. But of the major broadcasting teams, what color analyst is any good? Aikman? Snoresville. Romo? Heβs growing on me a little bit he still kind of annoys me. Fouts is ok I guess, I dunno.

I like Romo a lot, and I couldn't stand him as a player. He's knowledgeable without feeling like he's reading from a script. He genuinely seems to be having fun watching the game.

You're right, they're all pretty bad. I like some of the radio guys, but Aikman is the least annoying to me. He's gotten a lot better over time, but of course he's paired with Joe Buck, who everyone seems to hate. I think Romo might get better, but his style of predicting plays and calling stuff without giving enough of an explanation is annoying. But I imagine he will get more polished over time, even though everyone seems to be fellating him over the way he is doing it now. But if I hear him make anymore wordless sound effects when trying to figure the outcome of a close call, I will have to mute the TV. The Barber bros aren't bad actually. I think I only saw one or two games they did this year, but they were less annoying than most.

I have zero recollection of what networks broadcast what Super Bowls.

I don't have an opinion on who does it better, but I do think it's healthy for sports coverage to not be on the same network for any longer than 4-5 years. Just freshens up the coverage.
One of my favourite innovations in AFL was the "5 minute warning." The players never have access to a game cl8ck during a match, so CH10 made it so the viewers didn't either for the last 5 minutes of each game. It was like being at a live game and hoping that there's a lot of time on if your team is behind or shouting "sound the siren FFS" if they're clinging to a lead.

NBC is the best, I really like their announcers and studio coverage, and it helps that each of the games theyβve covered, Super Bowls 43,46,49 and 52, have all been very good.

FOX did a great job with Patriots-Falcons. Buck has toned his method down to much more reasonable levels, including not talking while letting the action describe the drama. Aikman's 'Oh my god!' reaction to Edelman's circus catch is forever ingrained in my memory.

I'm ready for PBS. With Ken Burns & Rick Steves calling the action. And get some of this as the theme music!

I voted NBC. I think it helps they're not in bed with either the AFC or NFC like CBS & FOX respectively. SB neutral match-up, NBC has it better baked in.
