I wonder if we'll see Sandman and Hydro-Man fused?

I'm not sure how it's actually going to play out but it's going to be ridiculous if Spider-Man shows up in every city Peter is visiting and his friends don't figure it out. It was dumb enough in Homecoming. "Hey Peter, where have you been all day on our class trip to Washington? Also, did you see Spider-Man save us today?" I genuinely think this looks pretty poor and ill-conceived. Spider-Boy: Eurotrip? Weak sauce, mang. And, to your point, ridiculous even in the context of a superhero movie if they can't figure out he's Spider-Man. I assumed "far from home" referred to him being, you know, stranded on some random planet (Titan?) with Tony pre-Snapture, not those privileged little fuckhead brats going to EUROPE. You know where we went for my high school trip? Lame-ass Six Flags in New Jersey. I hope they all die over there -- or at least get pickpocketed! politicidal, that was supposed to be Hydro-Man? I thought they were doing Sandman again!

I guess they'll combine those with established villains like Hydro-Man and Sandman.

It's more plausible than a bunch of high school kids from Queens being able to afford a lengthy trip to Europe!

Looks lame.
1. Why the fuck would Aunt May allow her under-age nephew wear a costume and go around being a vigilante fighting against dangerous criminals?
2. Why the fuck does Nick Fury need to recruit a high school teenager? Doesn't he have Tony Stark's phone number?
3. Spider-Man shows up in New York (when Peter is there), shows up at the Washington Monument (when Peter is in D.C. but conspicuously absent from the Academic Decathlon's field trip to the Washington Monument), and now shows up in Europe (when Peter is on vacation with other kids from his school). Why the fuck doesn't "MJ" or any of the other kids from his school make the connection that Peter is Spider-Man?
4. Since when does the US Department of State hand out passports that don't have the year for the Date of Birth, Date of Issue, and Date of Expiration? Obviously, the moron Director is trying to avoid another "8 Years Later" fiasco by not putting the Years on Peter's passport.

Not great but it has my interest, next trailer has to go all out and make me want to howl at the moon - Mysterio looks GREAT however.

It looked pretty corny tbh. Mysterio looked cool but that's it I think there are too many characters tbh.

Since when does the US Department of State hand out passports that don't have the year for the Date of Birth, Date of Issue, and Date of Expiration? Obviously, the moron Director is trying to avoid another "8 Years Later" fiasco by not putting the Years on Peter's passport. 1. Because, superhero movies? Blah. 2. I'm gonna respectfully disagree. Fury shouldve been in this role (instead of Tony) in Homecoming, which is consistent with his dynamic* with Peter in Ultimate Spider-Man. I always really enjoyed that and would've loved to see it properly explored, along with the whole arc Peter had with Cap that they apparently gave to Tony, rendering it pointless, but that's beside the point. Anyway, Fury was my favorite part of the trailer. 3. It's really poor storytelling. 4. I didn't catch that! Interesting. *ETA: I realized I didn't really describe this well: basically, Fury saw Peter as having the potential to one day lead The Avengers but wanted him to train slowly and methodically, and Peter wanted to dive right in. It dovetailed well into the... final issues of the book.

Obviously, the moron Director is trying to avoid another "8 Years Later" fiasco by not putting the Years on Peter's passport. 1. Because he has superpowers and has a history of stopping crime, I'm sure Peter and his aunt had a length conversation about it after she found out. 2. Because he's a superhero who has an impressive skillset and just happens to be in the same location. And we do not know when this takes place it could be before or after Endgame, if its after Endgame Tony Stark may not be alive. Also, Nick Fury recruited Spider-Man despite his age in the Ultimate comic book line. 3. You might as well be criticizing the source material as that happens plenty of time, ironically you're a DC fanboy who takes no issue with Superman using the guise of Clark Kent with just a pair of glasses. 4. A fair point, but it isn't uncommon for the comic books and also keep in mind that it isn't the finished product - the filmmakers simply do not want to reveal everything because Endgame hasn't come out yet and we do not know if its set before or after the events of it.

Probably all four of them at the climax. What kind of movie are we talking about here? Far From Home. I won't be surprised if all the Elementals (the water dude, the sand man, the fire demon, etc.) combine together Voltron style to become "Super-Mega-Dyno-Elemental"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't this type of post against the rules now? Most definitely. I already had to give out a strike today. Now we got a warning. Don't insult people just because you don't like a person's opinion on a movie who dresses up in red tights.

Looks fun, as always! I'm honestly looking forward to the relationship between Peter and MJ. I really like Zendaya and loved her sassy and sarcastic personality from Homecoming! Don't know much about Hydroman, but I really liked Sandman from Spiderman 3, so hope they're not gonna just throw out his entire backstory and have him be a generic henchman. But I think Hydroman and Sandman will actually be illusions by Mysterio.
