That facemask was highly questionable. It looked to me like the guy turned his head on his own. The missed PI was the worst blown call in all of sports, ever. Not even close. The worst blown calls in all of sports were: 1. Referee Walt Coleman inexplicably reversing Brady's fumble and basically reversing a Patriots' playoff loss to the Raiders. 2. Umpire Don Denkinger blowing the out call in the 9th inning of Game 6 of the 1985 World Series. 3. Umpire Jim Joyce blowing the out call with 2 outs in the 9th inning, costing Armando Galarraga a perfect game. That PI was what they will show in refereeing 101 class from now on for what constitutes an easy and obvious call. Ran straight into the guy before a catchable pass got there, didn't look back to play the ball. Plus threw in some helmet on helmet to boot which should have been another 15 yard penalty. All is plain as day, and it most likely ended up changing who went to the SB.

Bill Simmons with a great take: These Patriots have more fans than any other SB team in their history. They've got the Patriots fans, & the Saints fans. That's 1 more group of fans they've ever had in history!! Also, probably St. Louis fans & half of LA.

I honestly can't see how the Rams could lose. The game will no doubt be close and, as we've already seen, LA gets one penalty free "ram" per game.

Super Bowl in 2020 is in Miami.
Hmmm.
Adding fuel to the fire that Brady ends up in Miami after this year.
Pats/Fins in the AFC Championship Game. Brady vs. Belichick (this after meeting 2 times in the regular season).
Brady resurrecting a dead iconic franchise taking them to the Super Bowl hosting in their own city.
It's just magic.
What a show for the NFL.

The refs win. Neither team would be there if the refs didn't cheat for them. And of course, the NFL wins. Those mutherfuckers make money whether they cheat or not. The big losers are the fans. Who get cheated out of fair play, time and money. LA had it right, "Fuck the NFL. If we want to see rigged competition, we will watch the WWE." So the refs cheated for the patriots because they had one incrorrect call go in the patriots favor with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter on a 2nd down play. Well, if I believed that I'd never watch a single game, because every single game has incorrect calls. Like the Rams-Steelers matchup. Where you said mistakes happen in every game. But they even out. And that only losers wine about the refs. Or like the 3 delay of game and 2 face mask calls against the Saints that didn't get called. Also, the Chiefs committed lots of holding that never got called. Yes, they reverse their worse mistakes, but the Chiefs would have lost at least 1 td had they been called more often.

Possibly. But I doubt that Brady - the best there is, the best the was, and the best there ever will be - will have as disappointing an end to his career as the Hitman. Conspiracy Theory: Can Brady possibly be 'in on it' - just as 'The Hitman' was with the Montreal Screwjob - to possibly head down towards Miami. At first I thought this was possible with the Jets but no longer with Darnold at the helm. What a compelling story for the NFL - Brady and Fins facing off against Belichick twice a year (maybe in the playoffs) in the same division. Dolphins have been a struggling iconic franchise long enough. Actually, Brady isn't like Bret Hart. If any NFL QB is like "the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be", it's clearly Peyton Manning. The comparisons between Manning and Hart are pretty obvious: 1. Hart's dad (Stu) and brother (Owen) were also in the wrestling business. Manning's dad (Archie) and brother (Eli) are also NFL QBs. 2. Hart won world titles in 2 organizations (WWE and WCW). Manning won Super Bowls with 2 franchises (Colts and Broncos). So Manning is most like "the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be". As for Brady, he's most like Eddie Guerreo - "Lie, Cheat, Steal".

All I know is that I’m not going to be watching this year. I’m sick of the Patriots being in every single Super Bowl ever. It’s so predictable. You would have at least half the time the joy to see them winning.
