Hart Bochner / Jack Carney / Apartment zero
This movie was recommended to me, with the usual " it's brilliant, you gotta see this etc etc "
I have to admit that I was disappointed...but surprised nonetheless by the casting choices. Liz Smith (vicar of dibley / royle family) and a young colin firth.

Clue #1 - A cult movie directed by a deceased director/actor noted for his off-beat sense of humor. The actress flew with Gene Wilder.

Have never seen it, GSW. Your Gene Wilder clue tipped me off. Searching for a new character now.

I recognised the biplane. It's from The Great Waldo Pepper. Is the girl Susan Sarandon playing Mary Beth?

I'm none too good at choosing pics that are not easily found or ones that don't carry name captions, so it's UFG.

Have never seen it, GSW. Your Gene Wilder clue tipped me off. Searching for a new character now. It is a pretty good movie. Strange like its director Paul Bartel. The movie takes place in the King Edward Hotel (121 E. 5th St.) Los Angeles. The hotel is featured in the Davis/Crawford FEUD mini series. Crawford's brother works there and she visits to give him a payoff.

Now FEUD I have seen. I thought it was so well done. I expected it to win some Emmys last night but it was shut out.
