Alright, hint.
There was a lot of blood at the ending but at least it wasn't pig's blood.

Is it Kirk as Peter Sandza in THE FURY? Pig's blood = CARRIE = DePalma who directed THE FURY. I saw THE FURY the day it came out and haven't seen it since. I can't remember what Kirk looked like in it, but I don't remember him looking like this.

You got it, Bat! His character was just named The Man. He plays a killer hiding in a barn and the farm kids protect him because they think he's Jesus. It's a great movie and I've been trying for years to find it on DVD.

"Whistle Down the Wind" was one of Hayley Mills' first films made before Disney kidnapped her and brought her to Hollywood. I saw it when it opened and it was on PBS once-upon-a-time. Another really good one is "Tiger Bay" where Hayley appears with her dad, John. FWIW there are trailers and clips of Whistle over on EweTube and a couple of links to the full movie. I put "possibly" in the original reply because Bates tend to like that "scruffy" look in many of his films. jervistetch
