Rather than phrase the question in the negative (who is the dumbest poster), I thought I'd try to get some consensus on who the board feels is generally the most knowledgeable, intelligent, or capable theist when it comes to defending the theistic position.
I tend to find that most of them here are rather dumb as compared to some other forums, although one or two do stand out to me as being smart enough to actually have intelligent discussions with. What say the board?
Which theist here can put up the best arguments in support of their position?

I don't recall any arguments for god in any posts. At least not recently. I see lots of snide comments aimed at atheists and lots of tangential threads like do you believe in magic and demons and burning in hell...like that. But not any actually arguments debating god's existence. Or were you not limiting the topic to arguments FOR god's existence but anything theistic related?

How can a theist have a solid, viable and concrete argument though, when they don't have proof of their belief in a saviour and a separate supreme being?

Posters who I believe are theists, and who usually make intelligent posts, and are open to discussions, include (apologies if I am wrong or forgot someone): gadreel allaby geode The Lost One (EDIT: Not a theist) kls If I mistakenly included someone who is not a theist, I will remove the name on request.

Thanks! Though I wouldn't consider myself a theist but I often defend theism as a legitimate stance. I agree with your other suggestions.

If no one else mentioned any Donald Trump supporters here after all this time then I am not going to mention them either. I actually do not know anyone here, theist or otherwise, here who thinks Donald Trump is a good president or much of anything else.
I do believe that many people are atheists because their concept of "religion" is what Donald Trump represents. That's sad. I see his election as an accident of misunderstanding.

The most knowledgeable, intelligent, and/or capable theist on this board is probably someone I don't even realize is a theist because the rest are so conspicuously unbalanced.

How can a theist have a solid, viable and concrete argument though, when they don't have proof of their belief in a saviour and a separate supreme being? One can have a compelling argument for why they believe in what they do without having evidence. Just because something doesn’t have evidence doesn’t necessarily mean it cannot be compelling and convincing.

my godfree effie. there have been far too many wannabe, next generation, the latest thing never before realized, dyed in the multi fabric theistic posters here that it's almost an exercise in futility to rate them.
the study of gods is w i d e open and there are far too many interpretations upon interpretations based upon even further interpretations. so to single out certain posters for intelligent arguments would be just plain too time consuming.
although i seem to remember a quite younger captain who was once a theist and who has now seen the light. so i vote: YOU.
oh and i remember the handsome radiating therein. . .

Just because something doesn’t have evidence doesn’t necessarily mean it cannot be compelling and convincing. It would depend on what the argument is about. When it comes to discussion about God and spiritual matters, yes, it can be compelling and even convincing, but it all depends on the understanding of God as well, or what God represents.

So Gadreel and Allaby are Christians because they say they are Christians, like you said you were a Christian on the old IMDb? Like Adolf Hitler said he was a Christian when he had a microphone and a movie camera on him? Maybe you guys conned yourselves, but I don't think Adolf Hitler did. Does Gadreel even recognize Christ as the Savior? How does one become a Christian without recognizing Christ as the Savior?

You can call yourself whatever you want, just as those Christians you dismissed, do. I have a few suggestions for you, though!

Does Gadreel even recognize Christ as the Savior? How does one become a Christian without recognizing Christ as the Savior? First, anyone who is baptized, calls themselves Christian and believes in Jesus to some degree is a Christian. Second, even if Gadreel and Allaby didn't fit the bill: Who said anything about Christians? This thread is about which theists make the most intelligent arguments. And with your post, you have just shown that you are not one of them. Not that there was ever any doubt about it.

If anything Gadreel and Geode make more arguments against God. The only reason they’re approved by the atheists here is because they seem the most liberal in their views. In other words they tend to say what the non-believers want to hear and generally agree with.

First, anyone who is baptized, calls themselves Christian and believes in Jesus to some degree is a Christian.
This is why I hate those "Christians are murders/Hitler was a Christian" arguments from both sides.. Sure... Hitler claimed to be a Christian.... That doesn't mean that he was a model Christian... He was just a very shitty Christian... Claiming to do something doesn't mean that you're doing that thing good. And just because you're good at doing that something doesn't mean that you can claim who aren't don't do the same thing that you do. And dipshits who stroke themselves at the mere thought of yelling "NO TRUE SCOTSMAN!" in these conversations are just the most stupidest of them all. They're right up there with Grammar Police.
