I really hope she does return. I love when directors make a full superhero trilogy. Even when the third one doesn’t turn out as well, it’s nice to see an artist complete their vision.

Yeah it'd suck if she left then they replaced her with Mimi Leder.

She'll return. If Wonder Woman 84 ends up a bigger hit than the first film, which is extremely likely, WB will dump large sum of money and offer her whatever she wants to bring her back.

They should definitely allow her to complete the story in the third movie. I would think that they would...but time will tell.

Amazing Spider-man 3? I was thinking about this the other day. At the time, yes I wouldn’t have minded seeing that. I didn’t like the second one but my girlfriend at the time loved her some Andrew Garfield in the role and she hated superhero stuff so it was the only movie of it’s kind we could watch together. Obviously I’m happier with how things turned out now though.

Why only 3? Why can't there be more Wonder Woman movies? I see no reason to limit super heroes to just 3 movies each.

They should do whatever they have to do, to keep her for the 3rd movie.

I'd say let her do her trilogy and then let other female directors put their own stamp on a WW film. I'd love to see what Katherine Bigelow could do with a WW film.

Furthermore, it won't be a period piece this time. There goes my story for Wonder Woman: Millenium with Hades and Doctor Cyber. *crumbles paper*

I think it depends on the success of Wonder Woman 1984. They might postpone or scrape the idea all together if the second one bombs at the Box Office. If everything turns out good and WW3 pushes forward, I'm hoping they'll have Doctor Psycho as one of the next villains.

They should do whatever they have to do, to keep her for the 3rd movie. You would think WB have her contracted to do WW3 if they choose to do one, I mean if the next films does even just as good if not better than the first it'll just give Jenkins even more clout to demand a better deal, so I cannot see WB being dumb enough to only sign her for one movie again, and we know she negotiated a top tier contract anyway so not like signing on for multiple films on a first class contract would be a bad career move for her.
Whether people will want her to do one more or not depends on the quality of the next movie anyway, I mean we have all seen especially in the superhero films how a great first film doesn't really translate into a great second one, I am hopeful she is more a Nolan rather than a Burton in this instance.

They've been dumb enough to let Affleck go, and dumb enough to pull some of the other crap they've pulled, so I wouldn't put it past them.

True but their idiocy has usually been reactionary hell most of their choices have been reactionary but with Wonder Woman being both a massive financial and critical hit I cannot see them not being reactionary enough to sign Jenkins for multiple films, I think the bigger issue with whether she came back for part 3 would be scheduling or even if by that point she wanted to do another film, at the point 2 comes out she'd have been working on the Wonder Woman movies going on 4 years at that point, could be she wouldn't want to be as hands on at that point, she may want to do the story and be a producer but not want to be in the trenches as it were day to day on the film and with everything else, that's where I could see WB being dumb enough to trying to strong arm her into rushing into a part 3 and her just being like fuck this i'm out.

True. I'd hope she's got some Peter Jackson in her there, and be like, "Yes, I've been living with these characters, in this world, with these same cast/crew for years but I'M STAYING A FEW MORE YEARS, so help me."
