Since I started a ‘Who are your Top 10 favourite actresses?’ thread some time ago... IMDB2.freeforums.net/thread/145778/who-top-10-favourite-actressesI thought it only fair to do a ‘Who are your Top 10 favourite actors?’ thread as well (though it took me a lot longer to compile a list for this one). Mine (in alphabetical order)... Bill Nighy Eddie Redmayne Ewan McGregor Hugh Jackman Liam Neeson Michael Fassbender Michael Shannon Sean Bean Tom Hanks Tom Hardy

1)Tom Cruise (I listed him as my #1 overall simply due to the fact NO ONE has a overall better filmography then he does and not only that he's also got the highest volume of movies I score a 7/10 or higher of any actor @ 15 movies. hell, even if I remove the Mission Impossible series from the equation that's still 10 movies. off the top of my head... the vast majority of other name actors would be lucky to have about half of that figure(the 15 movies I score a 7 or higher) that Cruise has.)
as for 2nd-10th... I can't really say for sure but just to list some names (IN NO ORDER)...
-Kevin Costner -Clint Eastwood -Denzel Washington -Sam Jackson -Nicolas Cage -Tom Hanks -Mel Gibson -Daniel Craig -Pierce Brosnan -Matt Damon -Leo Dicaprio -Paul Newman (he's got a commanding presence in the right role) -George Clooney -Al Pacino -Johnny Depp -Bruce Willis -Robert Duvall -Robert Redford -Liam Neeson -Brad Pitt -Keanu Reeves (he's better than he gets credit for as in the right role he's got a solid presence) -Stallone -Jake Gyllenhaal -Matthew McConaughey -Ryan Gosling -Vin Diesel (in the right role he works well) -Val Kilmer
etc. there is more I like but that's good enough for now.
