A few of you mentioned that you've only seen the theatrical cut of Supe 2. So I'm going to be a shill right now and tell you all that the Donner Cut is fan-freakin-tastic! It cuts out some good stuff, but the scenes it puts back in are incredible. The tone is also darker and though it's shorter it feels more complete.
WATCH IT NOW IF OYU HAVVENT ALREAYDY!!!!&@$

I honestly don't even know which version I've seen. If it began with a sequence in Paris you have seen the theatrical.

If it began with a sequence in Paris you have seen the theatrical. I've definitely seen some version of the movie where he's up the Eiffel Tower.

I watched The Donner Cut a few months ago myself, and I prefer it so much over the theatrical cut. I just wish they didn't reuse the time reversal ending from the first film so the diner scene in which Clark gets revenge on Rocky (the truck driver) makes sense. Also, it would been nice if they restored the theatrical cut's ending in which Superman plants the American flag back at the White House so that subplot has some closure.

The time travel bit is my only complaint. It was so unnecessary. I also think some of Lester's stuff should've stayed in - like the flag sequence, but Donner clearly wanted to cut as much out as he could.
