Here are the reasons why they were chosen: www.joblo.com/movie-news/lists-top-10-musicians-who-deserve-their-own-biopicsWhile BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY isn't a bad movie at all, it served as another reminder that this genre has become so formulaic. I don't think that the musician should be chosen based on who's the most talented/famous one, but rather who has the most unique story. Even if it's not unique, there can be some experimenting with the narrative/visuals. While there have been many real-life people that have been portrayed more than once in fiction, I feel that with some the musicians on this list we already saw the most important events (especially M.J.).

Well, my favourite artist is David Bowie, but I don't want a movie about his life.

Though some of those artists interest me, I'm not really gagging to see a film about any of them. It's the "little" guys that would make a better biopics I'd be more interested in ...The KLF, Frank Sidebottom, Paul Robeson, Sister Rosetta Tharpe

Well, my favourite artist is David Bowie, but I don't want a movie about his life. Why not? Im not really a fan of "true" stories, to much bullshit and false stories. Also, not a lot is known about him actually. He was a very private person, al we have is just a lot of rumours. And Bowie wouldn't have wanted one anyway.

RAMONES, but only if it was done in grainy Black & White. Why? I just think it would work well with their overall lo-fi/gritty/ NY street aesthetic, particularly the early years. Admittedly there is also a very "cartoonish" nature to them so I guess you could arguably go in completely the opposite direction too.

Welp after Leaving Neverland dont see him getting one soon at all.

Of those maybe Bob Marley, but I don’t think any of them would would be anything much more than a TV movie. Joplin’s has been in development forever, and besides The Rose is already loosely based on her. Fleetwood Mac has all of the interpersonal relationship stuff so there’s something a little different. I don’t see how any of the others would be appealing at all, and I’m saying this as someone who likes the music of most of those listed.

If done right, a movie about Syd Barrett could be pretty great.
