I usually have many favorite TV Show Themes but at the moment these are the 4 that spring to mind ( but I know I will have more later on ... ) .
Thanks so much msdemos for your subject post .

I never even watched the show, but X Files had a cool one.
And Friends is pretty catchy. *Clap clap clap clap*

My Top 2 favourites would be...
The theme from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
And the theme from the TV series Angel.
But I also really like the themes for the TV series...
MacGyver.
Due South.
Dexter.
Da Vinci's Demons.
I've probably forgotten a few.

All In The Family It's great because it has the two main actors sing the intro as the characters they play and it's got great lyrics. The other things I like about it is that it starts out in downtown NY, then makes its way to Queens until it gets to Archie's house as if he is coming back from work, the show with the stuff happens at the house then at the end it goes from their house and neighborhood back to NY City as if Archie is returning to work or taking the viewer away from the show and back to reality.
Plus the outro is a great piano piece and here is Carol O'Connor singing the words he wrote for it.
I think I noticed another show does something similar but I can't remember which one at the moment.
In a way, Gilligan's Island, also a great theme song, does this to but just with the intro.
