Riding back from work, I listened to some wild talk show, and a guy said Planet X would come with about a million miles or so of Earth and cause disruption which would kill 2/3 of the world's population in May.
Then I heard it was 2003, so the show was taped sixteen years ago.
So it already happened.
How many of you didn't make it through that world ending event in 2003?
Let's hear the roll call of the dead, "Westward the Woman" style, the style Stpehen King used in a few of his movies. How many of you didn't make it?

I've heard that the current population is about the equivalent of the number of the people of have lived in the past...
That means that only half of the people who have ever lived has died.

The talk show host, I think his name was Art Bell, had the author of a book about it in the studio, and I was listening and not knowing what to believe, but both were earnest about it, and put their reputations on the line.
Then I heard them say it was 2003, and it must have been "re-aired" as a joke.
It was fascinating to listen to, though.
Reminds me of that eighties film THE MAN WHO SAW TOMORROW about Nostradamus, and I believe in that film the world should have ended many years ago. I do remember them saying some mean guy from the middle East would cause havoc close to the turn of the century, so they may not have been a million miles off course, but still off course.
Any way, guess I didn't make it, cause I don't remember the world ending in 2003. Or maybe I do remember. I remember my world ending, losing my job around then. Of course I'm always losing a job.

You should ask Erjen, when it comes to magical invisible planets, he's the resident... um, whatever the opposite of 'expert' is.

If that's true, why is it so hard to find a spot in the parking garage at the hospital?

Art Bell was bat sh!t crazy!
And there was also a so called reverend who was a radio talk nut job who used to predict dire human catastrophes. I don't recall his name, but he was even crazier than Art Bell.

If that's true, why is it so hard to find a spot in the parking garage at the hospital? Perhaps people felt ill, drove to the hospital and died.

As soon as I read the post I knew it was Coast to Coast AM. I used to listen to it back in the late 90s/early Y2K. It was on from 1 to 5 in the morning. I never took it seriously but it was entertaining and I had insomnia in those days. Art Bell died two or three years ago but he had retired long before that. I doubt that he ever took his callers seriously either but he was very respectful of them.

If that's true, why is it so hard to find a spot in the parking garage at the hospital? Because they all drove to the hospital and died there.
edit: Sorry, stammerhead, I didnt see you made the joke before me.
