White Canary is a strange story. Biz is right. She was originally a villain in the comic books and actually made her debut in 'Birds of Prey' and went on to become a Black Canary villain but she wasn't a really popular or well known villain so I think when the writers of 'Arrow' decided to bring Sara back from the dead they didn't think people would mind if they gave her the name 'White Canary' 'cause it was similar to Black Canary which was being used by her sister by then and the character wasn't well known. What is worth noting Sara was supposed to stay dead. According to Marc it was only a lot of fans wrote into them and were really disappointed with her character being killed off they decided to bring her back and that is how we got Sara as White Canary. Did you know 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' was originally meant to be an 'Atom' show with Sara as Ray's partner and love interest? I read that on a site recently and looking back I can remember when sites were referring to it as 'The Atom.' Yeah I remember that re Atom. Btw check it out Deb. Look at the session times for Cap Marvel for Hoyts or Event Cinemas. Looks like Disney has booked out the entire cinema for a week just to show Cap Marvel. There have never been that many session times for a single movie. Also timed with International Women's Day 8 March. I hear it's in other countries too from an overseas pal. My God I do too and I think we had a few articles about it on the old 'Arrow' board and it would have been interesting to have seen what that show would have been like compared to 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' and if Sara and Ray would have worked as a couple. I think they would have had to make Ray more serious and a far better fighter than they have made him now and is it just me or did he seem to be more competent when he was in 'Arrow' and when they moved him over to 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' he mostly just become the comic relief 'cause I remember him being more of a serious character back then. I haven't read many comic books with The Atom with them so I am not exactly an expert on the character but the ones I did read the Atom seemed to be more of a fighter who spent more time kicking villains' butts than being the comic relief and I don't get why they made Ray seem so useless on the field and didn't make him more of a superhero that could kick villains' butts. I like the character a lot more than Nate but why is he portrayed as being so hopeless compared to the others? Nate seems like he can handle himself better alone than Ray yet Ray has this flashy suit and can fly.
I have heard all about 'Captain Marvel' and for a so-called flop it is funny to see it has made over one billion at the Box Office now and many sites are saying it is not only a successful superhero movie but one of the most successful movies of all time.

Legends did that to everyone though, Sara was far more bad ass in Arrow than she is in LOT, I mean in Arrow she was supposedly on par with Oliver, but on Legends she couldn't hold her own with Dahrk even when he was decades less experienced, where as Oliver not only held his own but killed Dahrk in the present.
Also Sara was far less a goof, she took things seriously where as in Legends she's like she knows she's in a borderline sitcom and so acts like a complete prat half the time, it's just the other Legends are so much sillier she still seems serious by comparison.

Not sure about Ray, I tuned out of Legends after season 1. As for Cap Marvel, tbh I was worried there for a little bit. Glad to see it has become so successful, oh the sweet sweet irony due to all the haters
