She'd be better suitable as Batwoman better than Batgirl imo. Affleck's Batman is mid to late 40s in age, right? I'd prefer someone in their twenties to early thirties. I had these in mind from a different thread. 1) Rooney Mara
2) Jennifer Lawrence
3) Shailene Woodley
4) Jane Levy
5) Haley Bennett

They're a bit on the young side, tho.
I'd imagine Batgirl is in her 30s on the DCEU.

I'd say, to go with Affleck's Batman, she should be 25-30 depending when she started in Batman's career. Bruce usually starts being Batman at around 30. Give him maybe 5 years to become awesome. Batgirl usually starts around 15, maybe 16. If Bruce is Affleck's actual age (44) that would be 9 years. So Batgirl would be around 25. Up to 30 if she started earlier in Batman's career.

Well I think he's been Batman for 20 years (according to some interviews), so he began when he was 24/25. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have Batman on film taking in and training teens to be vigilantes, might get frowned upon and to be honest if you think about it......it's still kind of questionable. So maybe they should skew their ages up a bit, rather than having Grayson and Babs start during their early to mid teens........maybe 18-20 instead. Unless this Barbara will become Batgirl post JL.

This is a movie that has a guy who's super power is being rich and they are fighting an invading army of aliens. X-23 was made 12, Spider-man is 15... I don't think people will frown upon that. Also, if you remember, Batman didn't take in Barbara off rip. She started without him. He trained her and took her in because she would have gone out anyway and gotten herself killed without training.

I'm not talking about a solid 10 years, just a simple 5. and again the question is, where is Barbra here? was she batgirl before the current set of films or will she become batgirl? if she's been batgirl, then maybe she's in her early to mid 30s, or if she decides to become batgirl post JL then late teen very early 20s. and yeah it probably won't frown upon it, personally I see it working either way (I just prefer them skew their ages up a few years. ....also kids in movies are hit or miss), however people do bandwagon, remember when everyone flipped out when cap was "revealed" to be in hydra? now Dick won't be an issue

If we are to beliee reports there is a Nightwing fil in production as well, and since this is an aged batman I would assume Batgirl has been Batgirl for a few years so I would put her in her late 20¡'s early 30s.

She's not in every issue of Batman or JL. And about Laura and Peter having superpowers, being Batgirl is her superpower. It's the power of the costume. She has compensation to having super strength and regeneration with time and determination. A quick page long montage and she's one of the best fighters with extras (gadgets and such), with the greatest agility, around. The Batfamily is looked at as regualr people in costumes, but they are way more than that because regular people can't do what they do.

I hope she's been at least in training since she was about 16. Also, this isn't suppose to be a real world setting. No matter how many times they'll say how people see Superman in a real world setting. This is all fantasy. A young girl emulating a hero and then being trained by him is something that can happen in a King Arthur or Lord of the Rings setting. I think the problem is seeing these as real world things and not urban fantasies. Or even (with DC) modern day myths. Batgirl and the Robins are/were pretty much apprentices or squires to a knight.

no doubt in my mind Mila Kunis Emma Stone Scarlett Johanssen Jessica Chastain Jennifer Lawrence Johanssen might be tied up with Avengers; Mila Kunis is hit or miss to me; and again, I feel Jessica Chastain is too old but she'd make a great Batwoman. Jennifer Lawrence is a safe choice and Emma Stone would be interesting.

I want a young Batgirl. None of this 30's nonsense. But if Bruce in his mid to late 40s, that means Gordon has to be in his 60s or maybe pushing 70 or something. Barbara would also have to be older.
