Does it just do a simple *ring ring* or does it play a customized tune/song?
My phone's ringtone at the moment is the current version of the Doctor Who theme from Series/Season 11 of the show.

I downloaded an old fashioned telephone ring because I hated every single ring tone on my Motorola phone.

For most calls, a simple ring, but for some specific callers (such as Catwoman), Catman created various cat-sounds.

Mine must be a simple ring since I certainly didn't download any custom ring tone. Can't recall the sound.

my phone is on quiet it hasnt rang in decades... it only slightly vibrates when someone calls and is on complete silence for any other incoming things. cannot even imagine going back to having it ring.

For close family and friends, I assigned them their own ringtone that is standard on the phone except my sister's ringtone which is a dog barking ringtone. Otherwise, for random callers, it plays the Halloween movie theme song all year long. My text message ringtone for everyone is a cat meowing.

I hate having to pick a ringtone. I need to stick with the stock ringtones. I can't make some customized ringtone. I want to look nonchalant about it. But the standard ringrone that the phone company gave me was just too much of an advert for them. So I scrolled through and sampled each one, and picked the most pleasant yet generic sounding one. Something that will not be too loud to others, yet is a tone that sticks out in my hearing range. And without a doubt a key factor is that when others hear it, the ringtone sounds like something that could have been a stock thing. Which I never thought about and just accepted the ringtone my phone came with. I dread thinking that the others would know I consciously picked something that appealed to me. I'm very self conscious. It's a wonder I even have an avatar or even a screen name.
