I find Bill Murray incredibly overrated, but Groundhog Day is a great movie, probably his best in a leading role.

Great movie. I like time loops... Star Trek: Discovery had a great episode with a time loop - Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad Yeah, I like media that features Time Loops too... And that Discovery episode was a good one... "Groundhog Day" & Time Loops have been spoofed in other TV Series & Movies... Here are a couple of other Great TV Series Episodes: In "Window Of Opportunity", The Sixth episode of season 4 of "Stargate SG-1" (August 4, 2000)... An Alien activates an Ancient Time "Machine", in hopes that he will eventually be able to use it to travel back in time to visit his wife while she was still alive... But instead it traps Him, Colonel O'Neill and Teal'c in a Ten Hour Time Loop... There is a funny moment where Daniel Jackson can't understand Jack O'Neill's explanation about how the Ancients built a "Time Loop Machine" There are also many funny other moments that take place during the episode. In "Mystery Spot", The Eleventh episode of Season 3 of "Supernatural" (February 14, 2008)... The Trickster traps Sam Winchester in a repeating time loop, where Sam witnesses his brother Dean, die in many different (and sometimes humorous) ways, every day. Here is a list of movies that feature "Time Loops" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_featuring_time_loops

This is funny, I could swear I had posted "great movie, one of my favourite comedies" on this thread yesterday, but I can't find that post anywhere. Must be a glitch on the boards.

completely forgot Harold Ramis was affiliated with this.
apparently Dan Aykroyd has written a script for Ghostbusters III which is greenlit and slated for release in 2020 - Ramis apparently is in but no word on Murray - it ain't Ghostbusters without Murray IMO.....

It's also being directed by Jaskm Reitman. If they're making it anyway he's at least the most appropriate choice if his dad wasn't gonna come back.

Trading Places? Scratch that - that's previous to Ghostbusters correct. The Great Outdoors? And what has Ramis been funny in? Not hating - I'm just out of the loop and can't recall decent flicks these guys have been in - and a local radio station was going ballistic that Ghostbusters III was coming out............I mean ... it was a good movie... but didn't we just get the iconic reboot like a couple of years ago to quench peoples thirsts

Harold Ramis Is In? He MUST be playing a ghost. he's dead? Yes, Sadly, Harold Ramis died on February 24, 2014. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_RamisI am sure, that the team will reference Egon in someway though...

Interesting. interesting indeed. What are you thoughts on - Aykroyd and Murray seemed doomed at the end. In comes the ghost of Ramis to save the day - to give a thumbs up at the end - as the credits roll.....
