... The Somerset County League took the decision yesterday to postpone every fixture in the league today.
There has been no snow since early yesterday, none was forecast, it has mostly melted, and it's a bright sunny day today.

Probably end up shopping with wives and bitterly regret the decision.

Probably end up shopping with wives and bitterly regret the decision. Puzzling decision taken solely by the league directors on Friday morning given the weather forecast... most pitches will be fine today, plus there are a number of FA and league approved 3G pitches in the county that games can be switched to at short notice in adverse weather. Hope their wives drag them round IKEA for hours and hours... and make them watch all of 'strictly come bake off factor get me out of here', this evening.
