no, biggest problem with him is his movies lack depth at all. the new Star Wars films fit have zero depth and rely either on nostalgia (TFA) or trolling the audience (TLJ)

I guess you meant *could have been*? He might have been serviceable. But he’s far too inconsistent. I thought his last decent film was White House Down;imo his best film is The Patriot (2000).

no, biggest problem with him is his movies lack depth at all. After ID4, I've often thought Emmerich would be great for delivering the "visual kick" necessary for Star Wars since ID4 borrows heavily from SW, but after "Resurgence" "lightswitching" Dr. Brakish into a gay character I would fear there would be too much pressure from vile online communities to do the same to SW, especially after Pando Lando. That is a risk I'm not willing to take. Come at me bro!

I Keep Saying It and it is 100 Percent True!
The "STAR WARS" Franchise took a MASSIVE Negative Hit the moment that "STAR WARS" Fans decided all by themselves that they had the right (George Lucas didn't give them that right, LUCASFILM didn't give them that right, and DISNEY most definitely didn't give them that right either) to tell DISNEY what they could and could not do with it's "STAR WARS" Movies.
In reality, The Fans have ZERO SAY/NO SAY at all and that is 100 Percent the Right Decision!

Fans DO have a say, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
