Just because I'm learning to read accent doesn't mean I have to write in it. Fatha sounds like some kind of middle eastern bread. To me it sounds exactly like my in-laws pronouncing 'father.'

I must admit to using Scottishness in some of my posts because it is fun language/dialect to drop into and allows me to wind others up without causing too much offense, Alternately, if I want to have a serious go at some numpty, I can let loose with that colourful vocabulary.
