Comments like these give Hollywood actors and the Academy a bad rep. "It's an honor just to be nominated" isn't just a cheesy way to make the loser feel better, because they're not a loser. They were told by an important organization that their work was better than literally hundreds of others'. Just yesterday they did that luncheon, which is a why to confirm that all the nominees are equals. I could forgive someone for talking this way after not getting a nomination, but the 1st thing Bradley felt when told this was embarrassment and he considered it bad news! Come on! And he literally says he didn't get anything when in fact he got nominated in 3 of the 4 categories he was eligible for (including the most important category of the night)! Also, he's gotten 7 nods in his entire career! Ungrateful much? By the way, what did he mean by "I didn’t do my part"?

Is there a link vits. Who's spot did he want to replace? That director would then be snubbed. The thing is, it wasn't exactly a great year for films and the nominees are making up the numbers. If it was a stronger year, I doubt his film would have gotten the accolades that it currently has. That is so right. I would just add that for almost two decades now the number of movies nominated for Best Picture can run up to 10. However, the nominees for Best Director remain at 5. That means that all the directors of nominated films over 5 get "snubbed." It's silly. There's just not enough room for all BP nominated directors. Just 5. Not 6. Not 10. Five.

White folks sure do love Oprah. When she's president tho she's going to put them all in reeducation camps. Well the ones she doesn't have killed out right. I'm surprised they aren't blaming the "snub" on homophobia since Lady Gaga is transgendered.

Define almost. The first time there were more than 5 Best Picture nominees was 2010. That was only 9 years ago. Two decades means 20 years.
