Today on the news their featured adoptable pet was a guinea pig.
The weird part is that he was found as a stray.

This one? It was in St. Louis.
Look at him, who'd toss that out on the streets?

He pissed on my STAR WARS toys, so I had no choice!

A guinea pig wandered into our yard under the fence. We searched for its owner, but in the end 'adopted' it, built a home for it and named it Spike.

It could have escaped from a South American restaurant.

If that person can't manage a GP without being cruel, he or she better never have children. I'm hoping maybe piggy there just escaped. That makes me feel better about the world.

But a gerbil is small, so...

I hear you but I’m thinking that those things are usually a child’s pet and we all know kids make mistakes. Not that people can’t be cruel but I’d like to believe it was an accident.

Perhaps he’s part of a scouting party from that caravan I keep on hearing about.
