The Sixers, I hope, but it is going to be a bloodbath.

Definitely not the C's. It looks like they're giving up on this season and hoping against hope that they can get Davis in the offseason. Every other Eastern contender made significant improvements yesterday while the C's just sat on their hands. To top it off they suffered yet another home loss giving up a million points to a lousy team.

They still have a great coach and a lot of talent. I think they are now the fourth team at this point, but they could still come out of the East and it would not surprise me.

He can't take a team to the playoffs, indulges in drama in the midseason and his father does the talking for him as he has no guts himself. Nothing charismatic about his personality (for which I do not hold him responsible) but this passive aggressive behaviour is just too much to not dislike. And this LeBron James is getting more and more obnoxious every day. He wants a harem of young talents. Hope he doesn't win a title again. Lakers are disgusting. I believe Celtics are still a good contender. They should try a win streak of 9 or 10 games and they may start looking a lot tougher team to beat come the playoff time. I believe Raptors are favs but all 4 teams have good chances.

I sure as hell hope that it's the Milwaukie Bucks. They got a great team and a great superstar who seems to genuinely enjoy the team, fans, and city.
But really, as long as it's not the fucking Celtics, I'll be happy.

Yeah I think they'll 'turn it on' come playoff time, but they're going to have to win on the road. It won't be easy. Agreed with Davis. I like his game, but he seems like a crybaby. Thought it was hilarious that his father criticized the Celtics for 'disloyalty' to Isaiah Thomas while talking about where his son should play now that he's bailed on his current team.

Does it matter? Whoever it is is losing to the GSW.
With that said, bravo 76ers, I pick you to be the sacrificial lambs!

not going with my heart and will go with my head......
Bucks vs. Celts ECF
going to be a blast....
pulling for the Greek Freak here............
although i'd love to see the Celts in the Finals only for the Warriors to sweep them as they Kyrie and KD are off to MSG.
last thing the NBA needs is Toronto in the Finals - yawn - I don't even care if Kawhi has a 5% chance of re-signing there.

If I had to pick....I had it 6ers v Indiana Pacers. No Olapido, don't see it. NOW I got to see the seedings (Cuz it might not even be possible for this to be the conference finals) I see 76ers V Toronto.

I know I'm in the 1% minority here - goes back to my old theory of wanting my rivals to be good as far as the Celts (bucks aren't a rival - I just think The Greek Freak is a player to root for - i.e. he's not a prima donna and is a likeable guy) It's like this past NFL season. I so wanted the Eagles / Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game - it was all set up........ If 'our' teams don't win - I want our rivals to be good (and won't complain if they win the title) so it makes the next seasons games that much more enjoyable/interesting/fanatic/heated. Eagles Super Bowl Year - they had the Cowboys at home on New Years Eve - it was a meaningless game. I want a bloodbath with playoff implications on the line only to crush their heart and take their soul. Same with Boston vs. Warriors in the Finals. I'd love for a 4 game Warrior sweep or a Game 7 Warrior win in OT - breaking their hearts - as the Celts go into the next season as the ECF Champs if the Sixers don't make it. It's no fun to me when you beat up on a piss poor team who is supposed to be your rival. I'm looking at you Redskins, Mets, Islanders.

The loss last night to the Lakers will be looked back as a turning point.
