Politics was a hellish no-man's land. But it was undeniably entertaining.

Music General, my only real "regular" board on IMDb. It was very busy back in the mid-00s heyday but slowly lost posters. Like I'm guessing with most of the original IMDb boards, very few migrated over here.

I just miss the ability to comment on individual films. I usually stuck to the boards of films that I really enjoyed like The Omega Man, the Indy films, and others.

Some posters migrated to a Facebook page but it's more or less defunct now. The MG board here hasn't caught on.

Would be nice to get a bit more traffic on Music General.

Here's link to the old crowd's Facebook page, which as I noted is pretty dead now. Facebook's format doesn't work very well for many threads going on at the same time. Maybe you and others can invite them over here. I tried with one I knew but she hasn't shown up. At the time of IMDb's demise, many thought this site was a spyware or dox trap.

I lived on the Halloween(1978) board. I would venture to the sequels from time to time too. Other than that I visited the music or sports general boards as well.

I remember the moment I read that it was all going away, INSTANTLY realizing that those INDISPENSABLE boards for EVERY single movie and tv series was all being taken away..........and hoping against hope that, just like in the movies, 'the warden' would dramatically call just before midnight, with a permanent stay of execution. Sadly, I find myself somehow STILL waiting, and hoping for, that call that never came...... SAVE FERRIS

The Saving Private Ryan board was...interesting. A Brit and a Yank met there and got married. Another couple had a falling out and one set up a website and posted the other's love letters there. I never visited the site.

Oh, I absolutely can pinpoint which board I had the most fun on. The old "Charlie's Angels" board I could stay on all day long. It was like family to me. Discussing the girls and their personalities, favorite episodes, etc. I miss the heck out of it. There were maybe a dozen of us regulars. Ahhh...
Great question, by the way!

I miss the Jaws board. It was amazing how many different aspects of that movie got discussed. And any topic could be traced to Jaws as well. Afterwards I joined some Facebook fan group, but it's not the same.

I used to hang out a lot in Music General and Rock, same as here. I also used to visit the Doctor Who (Classic) board. But to answer the question, the board I had the most fun on was probably was the original Hawaii Five-O board - a show I had watched in syndication and started buying on DVD. The first nine seasons were released on DVD between 2007 and 2010, and there was a series of threads, starting with the sixth season, where I and other users would discuss the episodes of each season in detail.
