At the beginning, RALPH tells LISA that he has a goldfish in a plastic bag that's leaking, and she ignores it. Why isn't she worried? She loves animals. LISA asks FLANDERS to pretend to be her father... and he agrees? Isn't he against lying?
MARGE tells HOMER not to drink from the garden hose in their bedroom and she throws it out the window. Did she turn it off?
When MR. MONROE asks HOMER a question, the family is afraid that he'll say something embarrassing. He says "Do you like beer?" and MR. MONROE says yes. Everyone looks calmed and the subject is over. Wait, why? The question was "What's one of your ideas?" and HOMER didn't answer it.

Yes, but most of these are just gags. They do not need a logical explanation. I was not a HUGE fan of the episode, but it had its charms, like all of Simpsons. I enjoyed the most recent episode where Homer watched Stranger Things without Marge. The Simpsons is still a very entertaining show in my opinion.

Yes, but most of these are just gags. They do not need a logical explanation. They do need it, because they're based on who the characters are.
