Local sports commentators are reporting Anthony Davis is playing like he doesn't care. The trade deadline came and went. No trade. Davis doesn't want to be in New Orleans anymore. But Pelicans keep playing him.

Is he also throwing his hands up in the air?

But Pelicans keep playing him. He went 1-9 in his last game. Now you would expect a guard to have that sort of a game once in a while but a nearly 7 feet tall guy goes for 1 of 9? Certainly seems his heart is not there.

But Pelicans keep playing him. I think there was leaguewide collusion to keep him away from LeBron. No-win situation for the Pels, but I'm glad he isn't going to LA, at least for now.

Is he also throwing his hands up in the air? Yes and shaking his hips like "Kiss my ass New Orleans Pelicans. I am going to mail the rest of the season in. And there is nothing you can do about it."

In the long run, the Pelicans are in a better situation than Davis. They can hold out for the most trade value.

I think they're expecting to get a big haul from Boston, that's why they held onto him until the summer. I think you guys might end up with Brown and Tatum (and more). Honestly that thought scares the hell out of me.

My opinion and I'm no NBA expert, but this is the NBA's culture of the superteam. No one wants to turn a loser into a winner and become an icon. They would rather be a small turd in a big bowl. Yeah, LeBron did it in Cleveland but he was from Ohio. Is it going to be harder and harder for the "have not's" in the NBA to keep good players and not see them weasel their way to LA, Boston or San Fran?

Jeff Van Gundy was going nuts about this the other night.
Playing AD due to league pressure that you can't just sit him.
Know what you do?
Play him 2 minutes and then yank him and let him rot on the bench.
You make a public apology to your fans and the fans of other teams and give your home town fans a discount at future games.
Damned if I'll let this injury prone overrated prima dona call his shots.
ROT. And we'll get the best deal available come draft night or July 1st Free Agency period.

You mean the guy who burnt his bridge in New Orleans before actually leaving isn’t trying anymore? Lol

Man, his shoulder looked really bad. I don't think he can play the rest of the season, much less in the All-Star Game.
