Less than 10 days to go before the Oscar ceremony and there is a growing amount of signatures from top directors, editors, cinematographers, actors/actresses, etc. to the letter/petition asking the Academy to reinstate the 4 categories being removed from the upcoming broadcast. Do you think the Academy will cave in and do it?

I think they already have. They said it'll be televised as long as everyone else keeps their speeches within a reasonable timeframe or something. Trying to pass the buck to the winners of other categories is hilarious. Maybe cut some of the idiotic dialogue by the presenters.

Hollywood seems to think they are way more interesting off screen than they actually are. |

What are the 4 categories? Honestly, bad make-up can take me out of a movie. I start focusing on why someone looks so yellow or whatever. |

The Oscars can't do ANYTHING without f*cking it up. If they just cut the short subjects, there wouldn't be a protest. But editing and cinematography? Are they insane?

Frankly, I haven't cared about the Oscars for nearly 10 to 15 years.
The winners are usually worth their awards, so I'm not degrading that aspect!
