Also, there's a chance that 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' director might be a woman, which, if happens, would actually be a lot more important since it could be a proof that a woman CAN direct a "gender neutral" big-budget film. That is true. I'm completely forgot about GOTG 3 director. And given that Travis Knight AND Taika Waititi aren't directing that, I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel picks a female director for this one.

there's a chance that 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' director might be a woman GotG3 has already been cancelled. There's no director and even Dave Bautista is trying to go back to WWE and wrestle Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

You forgot to acknowledge and apologize for your disgustingly sexist remark "Captain Marvel has a female "co-director" who reports to and takes orders from a male director."

Because I'm seeing that the production will eventually start with the original script being used. Also, do you not realize that actors from pro-wrestling often goes back and forth between pro-wrestling and acting?

Well it is and it isn't. A lot of it is already planned out and some things are exaggerated in acting but it's no easy feat to accomplish all the maneuvers and its pretty easy to screw up and get hurt.

I watched it briefly once upon a time. I used to go to rajah, I watched Beyond the Mat. Hell I even read Mick Foley's first two memoirs. I know what's real and what isn't. It's theater. It's 'ballet with violence' as The Body once called it. It ain't as real as dcfan thinks, he's a total mark.

My reaction to the silly attempt to somehow tarnish the Black Widow movie/Marvel Silly attempt? Or a simple eye raising reaction to how Feige/MCU set a precedent to hire more female writers and directors and now, one of their prized female superheros whose long overdue for a solo flick has to have rewrites done by a man? Doesnt look that great a move from the outside. I think its your attempt to brush this off as silly. What you and many others dont seem to understand, is the fact that it doesnt matter if it is a female or a male writer, you hire the best person for the job. If it's male fine, female fine too. Comprende?

Then Feige turns around and hires a male writer to re-write the script for Black Widow. Not only is that hypocrisy but also shows that Feige wasn't being genuine at all about wanting MCU to hire more female directors and female writers and shows that Feige was only saying that for PR fluff.

It's not hypocrisy if the writer in question is the best for the job and has ideas that fit in line with what the studio has in mind for the product. I give you an A for effort in trying to make Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige come across as sexist pigs but an F in delivery, you also come across as quite hypocritical too as you show no issues with 2017's Wonder Woman having a predominantly male writing team when by your projected attitude wouldn't it had been appropriate to have only female screenwriters for that film? Also, explain to us all how Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been cancelled again because according to everyone who is associated with Marvel Studios and those were in the last two installments have said that it is in development but on hold for now.

Feige never said that EVERY writer in the MCU going forward would be a female. I can't believe I am bothering to point that out.

I can't tell if this is real or not. I'd prefer to not be opposed but it's kind of late for a Black Widow movie, isn't it? Everyone who's had an origin story since phase 1 wasn't in phase 1. Not saying they can't do an origin piece on her, but she got bits and pieces of one in Age of Ultron.
Unlike BP who got an entire introduction arc in a movie before his own movie, I would think she's been in too many movies to be introduced now.
What does she do? At what phase of her life does this occur? Pre-Avengers? Pre-Budapest? Maybe it could be like the alleged solo Batman movie coming up, a self-contained mystery that's a little more military/spy based than Noir.

As you mention at the end of your post, it doesn't have to be an origin story. I see nothing wrong with giving the character a stand alone adventure movie at this point.

But Wonder Woman doesn't have a female writer either. DCEU Dictator Walter Hamada has no intentions of having female writers either.

It would only come across as hypocritical if Kevin Feige said they would only hire female screenwriters for the Black Widow movie, and he didn't. Also, if Feige is a dictator then the higher-ups at Warner Bros. must be ten times worse by comparison - look at how they treated Zack Snyder, David Ayer, and Ben Affleck; now no longer Batman and if you think his quotes on Kimmel last week were honest you're deluding yourself he was clearly irritated with their business practices on DC on film. LMAO - So GOTG Vol. 3 is not going to happen because Bautista wants to have a match with Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania? You do realize that title matches at pay-per-view's are one night only and rarely go to 30 minutes or beyond right? And that there is no indication that even if Bautista were to wrestle for said championship they'd actually have it happen or keep him as champion for a while? He's not looking to come back for a super long period he's got other film projects lined up like Dune(I'm surprised you didn't list that as a reason why considering it would be far more time consuming). Also Drax is not needed for Guardians of the Galaxy, the team's roster has changed many times over the years there's nothing to say they cannot change members for any later movies.
