That reads like a weird question, but I am sincere. There are some canine creatures out there that just steal my heart and I could just hug and kiss on them all the day long. Right now I am watching 70s program "Columbo" and I love how Lt. Columbo loves his basset hound. So awesome. I want to pick them up and carry them around and spoil them to death! They would want for nothing, would never have to break a sweat, or, in their case, perhaps a drool. I am even fond of wet dog smell. It is such a comfort to me. Boomer, Benji, Tiger, Freeway, Theodore... I love nice doggies!!!

I like all animals but yes dogs are my favourites. They make me feel more human than most humans including myself.

Not really. It’s weird but I liked dogs a lot when I was a kid but I just don’t care for em nowadays. Doesn’t help I’m allergic to some of them. But even without the allergy I more often than not just find them annoying.

Nope .. especially the little yappy ones. IMO, dogs should look like dogs and be brought up to not bark at or jump up on two-leggeds. I like to visit with polite BIG dogs but have never felt the need to actually have one for a companion. As for hugging and kissing and dressing them up in pseudo human clothes and tote-ing them around in bags and carriages 
Cats are a whole different story. A catless house is an empty house. |

Originally, "Columbo" was part of a group of Mystery/Crime shows, that, as I understand, featured common theme music amongst the various shows... Eventually "Columbo", would get it's own theme music ... It was based on the old children's song: "This old man came rolling home", which featured these repetitive lyrics: Knick-knack paddywhack, give your dog a bone
This old man came rolling homeColumbo himself, would hum or even whistle the song... At the very end of " Murder with Too Many Notes" (2000), he asks a piano player to teach him, how to play the song for him... The melody could also be heard frequently as background music ques too... " Strange Bedfellows" (1995) features a fantastic arrangement of the music, done by "Dick DeBenedictis", which plays for 1 full minute, during the end credits... It's the perfect theme for Columbo!... It was so good, I recorded that one from the DVDs to an MP3. " Undercover" (1994) also features the theme during the end credits, but it is slightly sped-up... " Murder with Too Many Notes" (2000) features it too, but it is sped-up to run for about 45 Seconds. A bit too fast for my tastes... I'm not sure if other episodes feature it... I tried to track down this theme to post here from YouTube, but sadly, it seems no one has uploaded it. |

The idiots who kiss their dogs and let their dogs lick them are worse. Although many of those people probably do the pathetic cutesy talk as well. Well thankfully I don't really encounter that stuff when I see people interact with their dogs. I don't see too much cutesy talk with people from my recent encounters with them with their dogs, but I know my sister does that with her dog for sure. |

While she's not quite as disgusting as Dr. "Look At Me Up to My Armpit in a Cow's Ass Again" Pol, Catman nonetheless finds her show unwatchable. |
