So we should cancel all appointments for the rest of the week ? Consider it a temporary shutdown of the GG government, Bat.

I noticed in two previous quizzes about film characters and their professions that it was much easier to link an actor to his job than an actress to hers.
And just why has the word "actress" fallen out of favor?

I noticed that too and put it down to fewer job opportunities available to the film ladies (especially in the classics ) and so lots of multiple duplications were the result.

I noticed that too and put it down to fewer job opportunities available to the film ladies (especially in the classics ) and so lots of multiple duplications were the result. Maybe also because female characters were simply less attached to jobs in films. They were, well, wives and girlfriends. I also noticed that many of the actresses, including Shirley MacLaine, Shirley Jones, Bette Davis, Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Fonda, and Catherine Deneuve gave well known performances as prostitutes. Ms MacLaine once said she played so many hookers that the studio just left her pay on the dresser.

We keep one in the storage room here at GG Central headquarters -- in case we have to lift any extra NTAs.

I seem to recall a game that did go over 48 hours … no ? Prolly back in the olden pre-V2 days
So, who were these cross dressing motorcycle maintenance men ?

Pretty sure a GG ran at least 4 days on the old site - I think it was a "professions" game. By the 2nd day, every 6 hours I'd wander back to have a go and check if any more correct answers had materialized.
