We love Bochy, he's been seen down here in Santa Cruz numerous times eating at restaurants and such. From what I've heard, him and his wife are both really nice, down to earth kind of folks. He'll be really missed in the Bay Area.
Hell, I'll miss his daily pre-game radio show he would do with Jon Miller. Two great characters of the game discussing all kinds of stuff, baseball or non-baseball related. That was always a fun 15 minutes.
Bochy talking in that Sam Elliot western drawl, "Well, Jon, the boys have been playing hard, we're gonna give em a little break"......awesome.....

at the end of this season. Who is the next skipper:? This morning on the radio they were talking about Hensley Muellens. Interestingly, with Farad a stat head running the team, they think it will be an old school guy managing still, as he did with the Dodgers.

Even though we all know there is no way it could possibly work, the thought of Bonds managing the Giants sounds like it would be such a spectacle, you almost pray that it happens. You think Trump and the media is lunacy, imagine Manager Bonds dealing with them? I'm starting to think this NEEDS to happen.

He had no managerial experience, an abrasive personality and will be a distraction on the road. And if any players in the Giants organization fails a test, you will hear "Gee, I wonder where he got the roids from?" And great players rarely make great managers. But San Francisco is the only team that would consider it.
