1-1. Ridiculous penalty.
Hoffenheim 2 up in Bremen. And Bayer are losing again at home, against Cologne.

Absolutely ridiculous game. Bitter end for Leipzig, but the result is mere cosmetics. As Dortmund dropped points in Augsburg, Hoffenheim won in Bremen, no matter the result today Leipzig finish the season in 2nd place.
Dortmund and Hoffe are still fighting for direct CL qualification.
Ingolstadt and Darmstadt are relegated. HSV in 16th place. They have a final against Wolfsburg next week, who are 15th. Mainz, Augsburg, Wolfsburg, HSV are still in relegation danger zone.
Still open who will play in the Europa League.

Just saw that it was interrupted... now it's over.
The best news is that Die Mannschaft definitely has a striker again.

Leverkusen just confirmed Tayfun Korkut will leave the club at the end of the season. So far nothing about a successor, other than Lucien Favre has declined. With Tuchel likely on his way out at Dortmund, there's speculation he'll be the one to join Bayer.
And Julian Weigl broke his ankle and will be out for 3 to 4 months.

I had no problem if it would be Wolfsburg. For all the money they had, and made through transfers, it's pathetic what they made of it. Sure, they couldn't keep de Bruyne, and yet: what did the money they receive for his departure availed them?
Bayern had a policy to keep players even at the expense of the tranfer fee. Had...I can imagine they're stupid enough to sell Thiago after all (no matter if he has extended his contract or not - in the end it would just increase his share in a possibe transfer).
Hearta, Hoffenheim, Freiburg, Köln and who knows how Leibzig will play next season...it will be a masscre for the Bundesliga next year. In the end, it could be us, not Italy or England, who will benefit from the additional CL berth of the fourth ranked team. But it seems that the Bundesliga is in a phase of decline (albeit we never were good enough to really make a amrk - except for Bayern nobey won anything in the CL or Europa league), and now the addiotinal money in the other league seem to set in.
Either we drop the 50+1 rule, or we will decline and fall behind Spain, England, Italy and France (Now it is not only Paris but also Monaco...maybe Marseille or Lyon are next)...all the other league which allow investors and thus big money.

Still hoping that Hoffe overtake Dortmund so they won't have to play qualifiers. Once they're qualified, they won't do worse than Gladbach the last two years.
Right now I'm worried about Dortmund, losing Tuchel and Aubameyang, and worst case Reus too - that'll be overhaul #3 within three years. Watzke didn't cover himself with glory there.

If Burchhagen wouldn't demand all my hate, disdain, disgust, and despise I have in store for club managers, I disliked Watzke tremendously...but so...bye, bye Hamburg.
Too bad that Wolfsburg would be such a lovely candidate for relegation too.
Rummenigge, Allofs, Watzke, Bruchhagen...
Alle in einen Sack stecken, und mit dem knüppel feste druffhauen - man trifft immer den Richtigen!

Sure, they couldn't keep de Bruyne, and yet: what did the money they receive for his departure availed them? Kevin der Bruyne and his girlfriend walked past me at the Munich airport last weekend. Wonder if he was in town for talks with Bayern... Sadly very unlikely, but who knows...?

Lucien Favre, currently with Nice.
Still a question whether Nice will let him leave. Bild says Favre wants to move to Dortmund and is talking about a one year contract with the option for another year. Strange that it's only 1+1 year...
Not sure whether it's a good idea to get rid of one difficult character because you can't get along with him, only to hire the next.

Latest reports are that Bayer Leverkusen have offered Tuchel a contract.
I hope he accepts. I don't want to see him move to Arsenal or God knows where.
