agree 100% with everything bluerisk and mandragora have said. it's been super frustrating to watch Sanches play this season, and i don't see his form improving next season unless he's loaned out to get some more playing time. though alonso is retiring, he'll still have vidal, martinez and thiago (when müller is on the pitch) ahead of him in the holding midfield pecking order.
and regarding costa, i'd be happy to send him to arsenal as part exchange for Sanchez. he doesn't seem happy to stay and we desperately need somebody else we can rely on up from aside from lewy.

You signed Rudy, too. I thought Sanchez isn't for sale?

You obviously don't get it, because that mantle has resided with another SL Benfica graduate for a considerable amount of time.

Bayer 04 vs Schalke 04. Not gegen Elend.
Bayer down already after 7 minutes. I can just see them playing relegation playoffs this season. Master bottlers might even get relegated. Wouldn't put it past them.
E: 10th minute: 0-2.

So far, he wasn't really successful at any club in his coaching career. Don't know why Leverkusen wanted him.

It's still puzzling how the best pressing team can decay to become one of the worst in a matter of weeks.

As shitty as Leverkusen are, Wolfsburg comfortably beat them. 0-6 down at home against Bayern, and still 10 minutes to play.

As shitty as Leverkusen are, Wolfsburg comfortably beat them. 0-6 down at home against Bayern, and still 10 minutes to play. ...and since our competitors dropped - both - once more the ball: German Champion 2017/17 - FC Bayern. We are champions not because we were that good, but because the others didn't do their homework. Leipzig is forgiven for they are a promoted team but Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen or Gladbach: shame on you!

Match report: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39698612If any German sides thought that Pep Guardiola's departure last summer may have led to a changing of the guard, Ancelotti has been ruthless in proving them wrong. A 6-0 demolition of Werder Bremen opened the campaign, and another one in Wolfsburg bookended a superb season. They have scored 79 times while conceding just 17, comprehensively leading the league on both fronts. Saturday's win was the fifth time they had scored five or more. Ancelotti is now the first manager to win titles in four of 'the big five' leagues after adding Bayern's championship to honours won with AC Milan, Chelsea and Paris St-Germain.
The Italian said his first Bundesliga title was a "fantastic experience" and paid thanks to a "fantastic club." "I am lucky to be here with these great players and the fans who have supported us so fantastically all season," said the Italian. "We deserved the title, we played nice football."

Nothing decidedly mediocre about Baumann, Toljan, Kadabarek, Sule, Rudy, Amiri, Demirbay and Kramaric imo. All quality players capable of playing for bigger clubs.

If not for Nagelsmann, they'd stand now where they stood last season and the season before - Bundesliga midtable at best (which is the reason Nagelsmann is hyped so much, BTW). Ergo: Mediocre squad.
With his next game, the joint most expensive transfer in FC Bayern history, and as it stands now, also the biggest flop.

You signed Rudy, too. I thought Sanchez isn't for sale? true, Rudy can of course play in midfield (and ahead of Sanches) as well. Re: the post above and the 5 mil bonus for Sanches' next game. i would be extremely surprised if we let him play. what would be the point at this stage? just chalk this season up as a flop and loan him out. i don't see any other options - especially if he's apparently crap during the training sessions as well. i read somewhere on BBC a few weeks back, that Arsenal are interested in Costa. And although Sanchez "isn't for sale", Arsenal are better off getting somebody for him this summer than losing him for nothing next year. That's if Sanchez doesn't sign a new contract, of course.
