Couldn't find a video clip of it, but in Elizabethtown, when Drew is talking to Claire on his phone and thinks she's in Hawaii when actually she is right there in the hotel lobby behind him...she pops a balloon so he hears it, both on his phone and in his immediate surroundings.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any clips or photos, but it's the scene in the 1986 film FX where a special effects balloon was used as a weapon.
