Do you not think it is possible for a colored woman with a disability to conduct an interview about a superhero movie without having a discussion about why she was selected for the interview? Sure it is possible. I don't see any issue with it being brought up though. It's hardly a great trespass on anyone for it to happen, IMHO. Absolutely not worth calling for some kind of muzzle to me. It's virtue signalling and it's nauseating.

Sorry but no, that's very discriminatory of you to say so. No, it is an accurate assessment of reality: there are a lot of sexist jerks around here. Cry me a river. Any board which restricted statements of this kind is a shit storm of censorship and ideology. So you're saying it's perfectly fine for you to name call people just because they have different opinions from you. Gotcha.

You seem to think you live in a universe where no one is sexist or otherwise morally flawed, and in which pointing out these failures is somehow misbehaving. This universe exists only in your head.

No, I think I live in a universe where everyone is flawed (you included) but it's still frowned upon to throw insults and labels at people simply because they have a different opinion.

Wish I could find a cartoon that summed up my socio-political outlook.

"About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be overwhelmingly white male,” Larson said when asked about her reasons for choosing Brown as her interviewer. “So, I spoke to Dr. Stacy Smith at the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, who put together a study to confirm that. Moving forward, I decided to make sure my press days were more inclusive. So basically Brie Larson wants to choose her interviewers based on their race? Sounds pretty racist. You have to have a very small penis to type something like that.

You were the one who wanted to draw a distinction. It is up to you to articulate it. Now that I have, I'm still waiting for your answer, bro.

It's okay, I didn't expect a proper response.

Brie Larson wants to INclude certain people based solely on their race. That also means Brie Larson wants to EXclude certain people based solely on their race (since you can't have one without the other). That sounds pretty racist. The people who are ALREADY INcluded don't need you to defend them because they are already INcluded.
And Brie Larson wants to EXclude those people because they're white and Brie Larson wants to EXclude other non-white people. So basically Brie Larson is advocating for EXcluding people based not on their ability to do the job but based solely on their race. That sounds pretty racist.

To include one person means excluding another. You really are making a terrible argument, and it's incredibly ironic that you're a POC arguing in favor of whites. I'm not arguing in favor of whites or non-whites. I'm arguing in favor of choosing people based on their merits and qualifications and ability to do the job and not based solely on their race like Brie Larson wants to do.. If one race is enjoying disproportionate representation, then there are two options; maintain the status quo, or don't maintain the status quo. You're saying it's racist to not maintain the status quo... And Brie Larson advocating for continuing to discriminate against people based solely on their race is maintaining a status quo of racial discrimination.

I like how OP acts like its only men that has a problem with Captain Marvel and Brie Larson. And he complete ignores that there are also women who has a problem with Brie Larson and Captain Marvel.
Anyway Brie Larson is perfectly able to defend herself and don`t need some white man to defend her.

Let's get a black man instead to defend her or what about the Latinos, they can be the 'white' knights for once

You're metaphorically going peepee in my Coke right now yes? Or are you seriously talking about the merits and qualifications of interviewing an actress about a movie?
