I dunno why, but for some reason I'm interested in these movies. They always have bad outcomes. Sometimes where the bad guys get away and all the ones you are rooting for get killed. Besides Funny Games and The Strangers, any other titles?

I think that Harrison Ford movie "Firewall" is one of those films.

The Strangers sequel was way way better than I expected it would be
Ils (aka Them) (2006) Hush (2016) Switchblade Romance (ak Haute Tension aka High Tension) (2003) À l'intérieur (aka Indise) (2007) - avoid the US remake You’re Next (2011) Martyrs (2008) - the first half is a home invasion film Better Watch Out (2016)

Ah yes. Good one and I saw it not that long ago. Back in the day when everyone in the innocent family lived and ALL the bad guys were killed. Nowadays, it goes the other way around.

Home Alone. Pretty sure the one I'm thinking of is called Safe Room with Forest Whitaker. There's one with Bruce Willis but I don't remember the title. Hitchcock may have done a home invasion film too.

Saw that one. More of a lifetime flick, but still decent.

Saw that one. More of a lifetime flick, but still decent. I didn't see it, because it seemed like the trailer gave away the entire movie. That happens a lot. I saw Intruder with my wife. It was good, but once again the trailer was one big spoiler. I don't know why do that. How could we forget Panic Room? That was one of the better home invasion movies. Also, this was before your time, but I recommend watching Wait Until Dark (1967). I guarantee you'll like it. It should be available on some streaming service. www.imdb.com/title/tt0062467/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_30

Just stay away from the awful 1990 remake. Even Anthony Hopkins couldn't salvage that one.
