Infamous filmmaker Uwe Boll has been known to be one of the worst directors ever. Granted he has done his share of lame films but personally I dont think hes generally awful. There are some films I think he does put effort into. Hes a mixed bag for me. These are the films of his I seen best to worst.
Bailout: The Age of Greed (2013) - 7/10
This one I really liked. Its one of those films Uwe put effort into. Dominic Purcell plays guard who slowly goes crazy after his wife gets sick and he loses as his money. He goes on a murder rampage on Wall Street.
Darfur (2009) - 7/10
Again a pretty good film and admittedly pretty powerful. This one has journalists documenting events in Darfur which leads to a massacre. Slow at first but gets pretty shocking. Overall a good film.
Rampage (2009) - 7/10
Disturbing but pretty real film has a young man going on a murderous rampage throughout a town. Surprisingly well made.
Rampage 2: Capital Punishment (2014) - 6/10
The killer from the first film returns and takes hostages in D.C. to get his message across. Not bad.
Heart of America (2002) - 6/10
Columbine like massacre happens at a high school. Decent drama.
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) - 6/10
Dumb Lord of the Rings wannabe is actually very entertaining for what it is.
Alone in the Dark (2005) - 6/10
Give me crap for this one if you want but I didnt think this was so bad. Its like a Syfy channel film put into theatres. I was OK with it.
House of the Dead (2003) - 5/10
Horrifically laughable zombie film is really silly but admirably its entertaining.
Blackwoods (2001) - 5/10
Basic thriller in the woods film. Couple goes on vacation and get stalked by a killer. Watchable.
Sanctimony (2000) - 5/10
American Psycho wannabe has a stock trader becoming a serial killer. Not that good but again watchable.
Postal (2007) - 5/10
Uwe tries a comedy. Its a satire on politics and terrorism. Basically its supposed to be offensive.
BloodRayne (2005) - 5/10
Basic video game adaption. Pretty average.
Stoic (2009) - 5/10
One guy gets tortured and murdered by his cellmates in prison. Again an average effort.
Tunnel Rats (2008) - 3/10
Boring Vietnam film has a combat unit using tunnels to kill the enemy.
Far Cry (2008) - 3/10
Another video game adaption is just a generic dull action flick.
BloodRayne: The Third Reich (2011) - 3/10
Low budget Nazis vs. Vampire film. Really getting dumb here.
BloodRayne II: Deliverance (2007) - 3/10
Vampire in the West. Again getting really dumb.
In the Name of the King: The Last Mission (2014) - 3/10
An assassin kidnaps kids but is transported to medal times to battle a dragon. Laughable.
In the Name of the King: Two Worlds (2011) - 3/10
Special Forces soldier gets thrown back to medieval times to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Ugh.
Seed (2006) - 2/10
Terrible killer film is just flat out dumb and uses real footage of animals getting tortured! I didnt like that.
House of Evil (2017) - 1/10
Only produced by Boll but Im giving this a shout out because its really terrible. Boring and cliche. One of the worst horror films ever made.
