That image is so ridiculously cute and sweet, it gave me diabetes. Aw, c'mon, ant mac, who doesn't love cute little bunnies and chicks? And that half-eaten dandelion... I didn't say I didn't like it... I'm just observing the over-the-top ridiculousness of its cuteness and sweetness.

Deer - they are so graceful and fluid in their movement. I cannot imagine why anyone would try to shoot one. They have such a deer overpopulation problem in SW PA, my mom gets them living in her yard in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. One of them actually gave birth there. They don't let you get close to touching them, but they'll stand on the other side of the fence and let you throw food at them. I have a great video of my dog barking at a family of 3 does and two fawns. Those deer weren't afraid of her at all, much to her disappointment, lol. I have friends who live in a house on an odd little wooded lot, an old train track runs through it, and deer travel up and down the track. My friends love setting out food for them, and they have older dogs that just can't be bothered to get up and bark. I've been lucky enough to be there when the deer come up to feed, and the little fawns are so adorable!

What do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs? Still no idea. What do you call a deer with no eyes, no legs and no dick? Still no fucking idea. Sorry...

Thank you! My dog had a possum visitor, once. Seriously when there was an animal he wanted to scare away, he would run with front paws pounding the ground, jumping and barking; making the ground shake a little. But one night he noticed this possum, in a tree, just over the fence. He got low, crept slowly, across the yard, and made his way over to the fence. One jump and that was that. I felt bad for that poor possum. But my dog was a bull terrier, so his expertise was to make quick work of anything he got a hold of. I lived in a townhouse complex for awhile. They had a lot of strays and I'd feed them, sometimes try to re-home them. This one possum used to show up every night to eat the cat food. I love them, they look giant rats, and I loved my pet rats. They can be mean though. The one I fed would hiss the cats away with a full mouth of very sharp looking teeth. They can bite! My Dad showed me, at an early age, why one should NEVER pick up a possum by the tail - that possum just curled up with his prehensile tail and tried to eat my Dad! He deposited him out in the back yard, but I learned early about those possums!

We had a saying, "Tilt the head, make the eyes bigger and put a bow on it - we'll get those little girls right where they live!" I freelanced as an illustrator for several social expression companies and back-to-school products, so 'cute' was a GOOD thing!

My friend who is a wildlife artist has wanted to do a painting of little possums, but was unsure if she could sell the painting! So she painted little raccoons in a fruit tree instead - they were adorable, and they sold!

I had never seen one , @marilynluvstigger .. not even "sleeping by the side of the highway" and the camp host told me where best to sit and wait for them. Took about a billion pictures because I figured it might be my only chance to see one.
The next night there were several right by the camper ! The night after that … zero and they were awol the next visits to that park too. Odd, that !

They have migrated up to Southern Missouri, and when I go to visit my friend in Springfield, I see them quite often! They are odd little critters!
