Not gonna be a popular choice, but the only one I ever really got into was Bill Maher. Yeah he's a smug douche but... actually I don't really have a but.

I watch Tucker Carlson every night. He's fair and pretty honest and tries to engage liberals in real debates....which, of course, liberals won't do. They spew party-line talking points, don't answer questions and, if you're getting the best of the discussion, always resort to shouting you down and throwing insults at you.

Unless you're Dutch then he'll just resort to calling you a tiny brain moron.

Weekdays... The Five @ 5pm on Fox News Tucker Carlson @ 8pm on Fox News (re-run @ 12am) Sean Hannity @ 9pm on Fox News (re-run @ 1am) Weekends... Jesse Watters @ 8pm Saturday on Fox News (re-run @ 11pm) Judge Jeanine Pirro @ 9pm Saturday on Fox News (re-run @ 12am) etc etc. there is some others I catch here and there though. p.s. all times Eastern. No_Socks_HereThat's pretty typical in general, sadly. because it's like for many of them... if you don't agree with them, or thereabouts, your labeled the usual... racists etc etc. but I think that many on the left labels someone a racist (and the like) so often it loses it's intended effect to where many don't even hear them anymore and, unfortunately, downplays the legitimate cases. but you can tell some of them are not as extreme as others are and you can reason with a bit more. but the typical one seems pretty set in their ways and avoids any real conversation about it like you said. but many of them like to shutdown opposing views quickly and then label someone racist and the like but they are probably afraid of opposing ideas since those ideas tend to be generally better than the BS they spew. the truth is generally not on their side, especially lately as they go far left. so it's like about all they got left is hurling insults etc. politicidalBut can you blame him? it's like he's trying to have a legitimate conversation but many just dodge the questions etc. so it eventually gets to a point you can't even have a conversation and he gets a little frustrated here and there over it. but I guess in today's political climate, being the left is getting more-and-more hard left it's just going to be that much more difficult to have a real conversation to where stuff like what happens on Carlson's show is pretty much the default with many conversations unless you happen to get someone who's not too far left talking and then maybe there can be at least a little debate going on.

Bill Maher, John Oliver and Stephen Colbert. to me they are all primarily comedians not political commentators. one that i feel is a bit more of a commentator would be Trevor Noah, but still its primarily comedy. But as far as comedians/late night show hosts go for me its either Jimmy K or Seth. I used to like Colbert a lot but he is easy to get over saturated with, especially since Trumps presidency, its all he has it seems (shitting on trump) and its not always amusing and sometimes is a bit too manipulative which does not please me. I do enjoy Maher.
