My favorite movie of the nominees won.
That almost made up for how crappy the rest of the wins were.

well at least some sense of credibility was brought back. green book win for best picture and best original sreenplay. So after 11 years and 20 movies, still no major (acting, directing, producing, or writing) Oscar wins for MCU.

Driving Mr Daisy was a f-king boring over-rated film. This one was funny and intelligent with a lots of heart plus plenty suspense. Other than one person driving another of a different race in a racially charged environment, nothing else similar between the two movies.

What a crappy year for the Oscars and movies in general. Yes. There were a good amount of movies I liked this year, but a majority of those were not named in this years Oscars. And the majority of the movies, actors and actresses that were nominated should not have been nominated. And I wasn't happy with some of the winners.

Since we started with Queen, I think it's fitting to end with some Queen and congrats to all the princes and princesses of the universe who won tonight.

You realize that the joke was calling THIS movie Driving Mr Daisy? The original was Driving Miss Daisy.

You realize that the joke was calling THIS movie Driving Mr Daisy? The original was Driving Miss Daisy. Yes, I know about the joke. Lots of people do not like the movie and pointed out the similarity, just like when people did Forest Gump to Benjamin Button. To be honest, Driving Miss Daisy was in my mind too when I was watching the early part of The Green Book, but forgotten about it when I was so engulfed into the movie. Big difference between the two movies is just my point.

Bohemian Rhapsody winning anything makes me want to slit my wrists.
Queen is wildly overrated and their movie is too.

The only good thing was the Spiderman cartoon winning. I was surprised by how good that movie was.

lol. It makes me feel good to that Green Book triggered so many people Apparently Spike Lee was pissed and nearly walked out of theatre as well. Because he didn't win. Boo hoo, what a jerk. Personally I've only seen Roma and The Favourite (preferred Roma, though liked them both) and don't have much interest in any of the others, but have nothing against Green Book winning. Maybe I'd care more if I cared about the Oscars.
