Re: the post above and the 5 mil bonus for Sanches' next game. i would be extremely surprised if we let him play. what would be the point at this stage? just chalk this season up as a flop and loan him out. i don't see any other options - especially if he's apparently crap during the training sessions as well. Question is where would he get game time? Can't see the likes of Schalke, Gladbach, Hoffenheim giving him a lot of minutes if he plays like that. They can afford to lose points even less than Bayern and they have no long-term interest in developing him. Worst case would be if he playx 25x5 minutes and you'll have to pay another 5 million at the end of next season (does this clause apply if he's loaned out, too?)

It'd be best that he also gets some more international experience at club-level, so I'd wait to see who makes it into Europe and loan him off to either Hertha, Bremen or whoever takes the last spot for the EL qualifiers. Gladbach would actually be a decent destination, given that they're losing Dahoud to Dortmund. But it doesn't looks like they'll be making it into the EL. Maybe even Frankfurt, as they'll be in the Euro League after making the cup finals, if I'm not mistaken. Good question about whether the bonus has to paid if he fills the quota whilst on loan. I assume: yes.

Bayern have just denied the reports that there will be an additional 5 million payment "after the next games, or the games thereafter".
So either that Portuguese newspaper is a rag, or they're putting up a smokescreen. Can't believe all the additional payments are as unrealistic as Sanches making the FIFpro XI or winning the Ballon d'Or.

I always wondered what happened that Sanches kid. Looks like Utd dodged a bullet.
Madness in Koln tonight!

The village club got screwed over big time by the ref today. A clear offside goal to Dortmund, a red card not given against Reus, instead a penalty was awarded to BVB which Aubameyang missed (Karma is a bitch). Hoffenheim having to play CL qualifiers has become the likely end of it.
Hertha 1-4 RB Leipzig. Leipzig mathematically qualified for the CL group stages now.

It looks like the situation at Dortmund between Tuchel and the CEO is getting worse by the day. For those who are interested and willing to google-translate: Streit zwischen Tuchel und Watzke: Dortmund driftet auseinander | SüddeutscheWatzke geht ins kalkulierte Risiko | SchwatzgelbThe gist of it: Major atmospheric disturbances between Tuchel and the CEO/the president/Dortmund staff and some of the players. Watzke and Rauball are accusing Tuchel of having given false information to the media with respect to the happenings in the aftermath of the bomb attack. According to them, they phoned Tuchel in the evening of the attack and he had no complaints about playing the next day. According to Tuchel, he was only informed via SMS and it was all decided over his and the players' heads. Watzke seems to be furious over been painted as the villain and has publicly stated that in a work relationship communication and mutual trust as important as success. He has also suggested that internal agreements were different from what Tuchel has communicated to the press. Don't know what to think of all this, other than it doesn't look like Tuchel will still be Dortmund's coach next season.

Keita? Keita's probably been the best CM in the league along with Thiago. He's on everyone's radar. Don't think Leipzig will sell him this summer, but I doubt he'll stay forever. He said his dream is to play for Barca, and with their midfield situation, they sure could use him.

Dammit looks like everybody wants him. When I heard him compared to Kante, I got excited, everybody wants a Kante after missing out on him last Summer.

Or both... unfortunately, I like Tuchel - or at least the version of him I can observe in pressers and interviews. He comes across as quite charming, intelligent, insightful, and sensitive. But judging from reports, that's Dr. Jekyll-Tuchel. Behind the scenes and off-camera, he seems to turn into Thomas-Hyde. There's no doubt he is a high maintenance personality.
