12 million EUR, according to Kicker. And there they say there's no value in the market.
Another super bit of business from Zorc and the gang that will compliment Weigl very nicely. Bought both for under €15m.
Be interesting to see what happens with Raphael Guerreiro now and whether the experiment to convert him to a box to box midfielder by Tuchel will cease and he gets moved into a more familiar left full back role where shifting Marcel Schmelzer seems an unmovable object. He'll probably rot on the bench next season.
Dahoud is exactly the type of player they've been missing after Gündogan's departure. He's often compared to the young Gündogan. Hopefully not injured as often. With Weigl, Dahoud, Pulisic, Dembele and hopefully a recovered Mario Götze and Reus the midfield / attack looks impressive, especially if Aubameyang stays. Hopefully they'll be able to sort out their atmospheric disturbances with Tuchel, then they should have bright next season.

I'm not so convinced on Pulisic, really don't think he is anything special, certainly see more talent with Emre Mor who has been criminally underused by Tuchel this season. Defensively, still need a commanding centre back and the impending arrival of Toprak doesn't solve a key area of weakness imo, but they will likely score more than the opposition to not worry about it against the lesser likes..but it will count when coming against the better teams.
Still the talent on the roster will only increase in value as the years go by, it's whether they choose to ride them all the way or cash in and start the process of talent spotting the cream again. Either way, they're in a very healthy position to grow and prosper and become a permanent part of the European elite.
Is there any other club in the European spots of the top flights from a place with 3,000 inhabitants?
Next game will be vs Bayern, in Munich. With Neuer missing, I expect defensive chaos a la the Rostov game. The village club has a good chance to get a result there.
Could be a fire sale at Leverkusen in the off-season, first of a few departures one suspects.
German players will not be moving abroad on the eve of a World Cup year, especially those who stand a chance of making the final twenty three man squad.
It's not quite clear whether he'll be off this summer or the next. With the situation at Leverkusen it would be better to leave ASAP, IMO. He needs a decent coach to take the next step, and I'm not confident he'll get that at Leverkusen.
Wonder whether that means Costa is on his way out at Bayern then.
Hoffenheim stay in 3rd place, Dortmund down to 4th.
Only 6 points between 8th place and relegation playoff place.
Just now Mainz are losing in Ingolstadt. Them and Augsburg look like the most likely candidates for 16th place. Last match later today, Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg. Both aren't exactly safe, either.
Leverkusen v Wolfsburg. A relegation six pointer, who would have thought that at the start of the season?? (Well I did mention that the Wolves would be hovering around those places)
Good game earlier in 2.Bundesliga between Stuttgart and Dynamo Dresden, with a spirited fightback from three down by the home side. Things are real tight between four sides to see who gets promoted.
