I wouldn't consider Wolf of Wall Street a prestige film.
I also think Revenant was an action movie.
I don't think he needs to be Tom Cruise or anything.

Both those movies were aiming for Oscars Would he ever appear in a Marvel movie or a comedy? Or a movie like Mission Impossible sequel that gets good reviews but isn’t aiming for Oscars?

Leo goes more for interesting material rather than just a paycheck.

I think to star in those he would have to want to and there's no reason to want to if he can go funny or gonzo in a "prestige" film. He's not in it for the popularity which would be the primary reason to star in one of those when he's still getting paid well for the movies he does.

He should do a biopic of MLK as the lead role. I see nothing but good things happening.

Granted this was early in his career but he did do the Beach. While I liked it okay it was hardly a prestige film...

Actually, I respect that he hasn't done any type of movie franchise . The closest thing he's ever done (in recent memory ) would have been Inception . Which was a big budget summer blockbuster that was widely successful .
And lmao at the Marvel suggestion . Come on now, he is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too good for that shit.

While at aimed at the Oscars I consider The Wolf of Wall Street to be a comedy and he was pretty good in it. So yeah, I'm in favor of him doing more stuff like that...

No and I dont want him to. His box office draw is needed to promote original mid tier movies, not comic book or franchise movies that will sell tickets regardless of who is cast. Id throw Tom Cruise in this boat as well. I hope they stick to making movies that dont rely on previous IP
Edit: And before anyone brings up Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise starred in the very first one so it is in essence his own creation. Hes not hopping into a 20 series movie franchise like Marvel
