I tried to give weirdraptor's site a chance on a few different occasions. I had hoped it would be a place to discuss Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and other popular franchises – because God knows Colden and his lackeys have made it impossible to do here. It wasn't for me. It seemed very similar to these boards (cliquey, melodramatic), except weirdraptor was the one calling the shots instead of the trolls on this site.
One of the things that I did not like about that place was that he was letting many members of this site who I believe are responsible for the shitty condition of these three boards post over there as well. He's gotten rid of some of them – Colden for example. When I asked why he allows the Akbars to post their – because I view them to be trolls as well – he said it's because Akbar (there so many of them, but I think it was the main one) was very helpful to him. Specifically, he blew the lid on Colden's less than honest intentions over at that place. However, I find it interesting Colden and Akbar are friendly here, despite one ratting on the other over there. Anyone know what that is all about? Innit kinda strange, mang?

The Ackbars (plural) are human beings with unique perspectives and worldviews with whom I enjoy discussing movies etc on here tremendously. The incident to which you're referring -- and I'm admittedly assuming this based on the timing of your question and a couple other factors -- occurred when I was acting like an asshole (surprised?) a few months ago, and a couple Ackbars rightly called me out on it, via PM. I apolgized. That was that. Without going into additional details whatsoever, I'll divulge that there was a third party in the situation, and that presumably that third party chose Raptor's board to vent about the situation. If so, I don't really care. Truth to be told, I don't have any ill toward even Raptor at this point. I've hashed out my issues with the dude, and at this point don't have a bad thing to say about him. Or Kw, about which I've heard pretty good things for the past few months. |

So here I am, probably the last person in the universe who hasn’t seen Star Wars, and after waiting for an eternity, I get to watch the first movie. I suppose this is the best place for me to record my thoughts? Very first impressions: *As I was watching that famous opening title-crawl, my first thought is—“did I start with the right movie?” It seemed to start mid-story, as if the audience already knew Leia and Darth Vader. My second thought? “Dear God, all John Williams scores sound the same.” *I found the opening surprisingly dull, and the dialogue sequence between Leia and DV definitely needed another take. The robots are more annoying than entertaining. *Happy I stuck with it, though, as everything since we met Mark Hamill has been fun. Alec Guinness is as great as ever. Will let you know more thoughts as I go along. You can fuck off with that shit. and followed it up with this: When did you become such a troll? You were a quality poster on the old IMDb.
