So whats is it like to be the fake president of a country that nobody gives a shit about ? What's it like to be a jealous beta cuck who takes petty swipes at Chads on the internet in a futile attempt to feel better about himself? I don`t know, you tell me.

What does she need a 40 year old white dude for, because I'd be willing to negotiate.

Larson says she was "stoked" by Disney CEO Bob Iger's response to the challenge, which was to announce that 40 percent of Disney's upcoming movie slate is being directed by women.

I don't need a 30 year old white girl complaining about not enough women and diversity in superhero movies, they're not made for THEM! How about that, Brie? Lol at dudes wanting superhero movies to be sausage parties. So the way to get more women to like the genre is to have more women heroes? I'd think if the films don't appeal to someone having the lead now sharing your genitals isn't really going to change your mind on it. If it does that would be incredibly shallow anyway, not sure I'd really call that a win.

I'm a 58 year old white dude (well over 40 just a year ago when the film came out!!) and I didn't complain about the film based on this book that came out around my infanthood. Cheers!

"I don't need a 40 year old white dude complaining about a Wrinkle in Time, it wasn't made for him!" Well, clearly that's nonsense. A good movie is a good movie and it comes across to anyone watching it.
What about the good reviews for Selma, Ava Duverenays previous film, with an all black cast? What about Get Out? BlacKKKlansman? Into the Spiderverse? Roma? The Favourite? All movies that aren't about 40 year old white dudes.
I guess these 40 year old white dudes shouldn't give Captain Marvel good reviews, because its a movie about a mid twenties woman?
Sometimes people just say shit in the heat of the moment that isn't thought out.

An open letter to Brie Larson.
Dear Mistress,
I am now woke thanks to you. You have made me see the error of my ways and I am forever in your debt. I realize that I was not really a liberal, but just pretending to be, but now I can say that I am a new man. I am at your feet. Allow me to remove you glass slipper so I may suck on your toes. I am a white male and I need to be punished.
Sincerely, movieman.

I think people don't like Brie because she's angry. If she was softer men would be fawning all over her every word. Women, and any and all oppressed minorities, deserve to be upset for being denied their equal share of things in the past. They're mad as Hell, and not taking it anymore. So what if she bruises a few egos, it's working and getting her noticed. She seems less Hollywoodish, she's not just towing the company line to sell her movie, she's using her platform to get her points across.

Man, she seems like she'd be exhausting to hang out with . Probably always telling her male friends to "check your privilege!!!!11" . That would get really annoying lol.
I honestly think she's a good actress from the stuff I've seen her in but Captain Marvel looks pretty lame so I'm passing on seeing that shit in theaters .

I don't like Brie Larson because it feels like she is selling Disney propaganda. If she had said similar things in the same way, but not while shoving more Disney crap down my throat that would be much different. You don't get anywhere by pissing off the people that you should be trying to win over. If you want people to listen to what you are saying, I mean really listen, you don't go about it in the way Brie Larson is. It is turned into an us against them thing, when it should be about trying to reach the people who are on the other side. It also causes very confusing emotions when she is speaking about social justice, while promoting a movie for the greediest, egotistical company in the movie business.

I don't think Brie has been as bad as a lot of the women on Twitter. at least Brie didn't say captain Marvel isn't for white men. people have been twisting her words into that. I have come across people on Twitter saying that though, and that's kind of a big slap in the face for people who have been following these movies for over 10 years and now all of a sudden it's not for them that it's just for little girls. they think they're being on the right side by saying these type of things but it's just more hate.

I agree that there are much worse people on the left than Brie Larson. There is a reason I don't use social media. It's one of the most toxic things on the planet imo.

Social media, Reddit, and YouTube are all toxic from both sides. And what makes those things even worse is they all have a follow the crowd type popularity contest going on all trying to get likes and upvotes, and followers.
