Life is very stressful so much crap to deal with insurance, bills, rent/mortgage, car troubles, work, school, forms, forms, forms. And marriage and kids adds even more. And we do it all so at the end of the day we can enjoy a movie or play a game or whatever past time you have.
I think the only reason why slackers go from a chill life to a stressful life is shame from other people.

And when I feel like listening to music, reading a book, surfing the net, watching a film or TV series, playing a video game or any other activity I enjoy, I do it. Sometimes, I do a combination of more than one activity at the same time. I live alone. It's pure bliss.

You just to learn the rules VERY WELL, and use them to your advantage.

Do slackers have it right? Hey. Slacker here. We absolutely do, yes. Exactly. Life is too short to live that way and worry so much about those things that will mean nothing in the end. People just do all that because they are "supposed to do" and want to fit in. Luckily most of that stuff you mentioned is optional. Don't fall into the trap like so many do, brah. Which is barely any time at all, for those who live the full time 9-5 life. That is very true and it's a sad thing. So many people basically sell out for the "normal" life. Slacker for life

I think the only reason why slackers go from a chill life to a stressful life is shame from other people. i honestly dont believe that slackers have a “chill life”. there will probably be some remorse/regret / fear / shame going on in their life more than they will let you know. or... define slackers? is it people who dont have mortgages or get married and have kids OR people that dont go for steady employment/ dont have enough money to pay their bills, dont clean their place and often fail on their commitments and dont apply too much attention to what they do? |

You're living the life brah I just wish it hadn't taken me so long to figure it out. Although to be fair, the circumstances that had to occur for me to reach my current situation took several years to occur. If they had happened when I was younger, I may not have had the ability and experience to make the most of my opportunity.
